These days I play similar to you guys in that I’m just trying to budget manage and play for fun when the kids are asleep and honestly what I’ve found more fun is starting way lower deposit and moving through the stakes on those ‘lucky nights’ rather than doing 60p consistently.

So I tend to stick a £50 on and we just play 20p if it goes super well early we move up to 40p, 60p etc on games we enjoy if it goes bad we just stick to 20p and you know sometimes that last £10 you hit a 20p 100x that gets you another few hours play. The days it goes wild and you go up the stakes sometimes you cash out £400.

In the end we all end up at RTP but I find it more fun to start low and the big wins come from ‘nothing’ than to put £250 in like you guys and sometimes have it just vanish in an hour which it totally can on 60p/80p/£1 stakes – it’s only a few hundred spins if the base goes dead at those stakes.

Yeah I was thinking the same lately – the real degens like us we enjoyed. They all have quit the same time near enough (bar the odd video) we have no Bandit, no Hypa, no Rolla. Everyone else kinda sucks – I watch a few just to see some of the new games/if they’re interesting but nobody gambles it’s just mechanical content creation now our ‘big three’ have gone. Particularly the Bandit. I hope he’s doing well and having fun – I’ve loved so much of his content like so many have said they owe us nothing – I do wish he’d just do a goodbye video or something to close things out but he doesn’t owe us it if he doesn’t care to do it.

Lol @jumpsy74 – I told myself I’d play it until I had one then never play it again. Had a decent 250x ish hit and ofc have been stupid enough to play it again dozens of times with the next best bonus about 30x lol and loads and loads of 200 spin no bonus shots during sessions.

Play at the biggest and most well known sites only, expect lots of hassle when you first get registered etc. It’s all a pain compared to the old days. And getting worse – unless you love online slots (which I’ve you’ve never registered before you probably don’t… not enough to put up with today’s nonsense anyway) I’d just not bother yourself tbh and go do something better where the people taking your money don’t also treat you like turd.

I suppose they’ve achieved what they want if more of us don’t even play.

I lose more when button mashing vs doing 100 autos a few times then moving on. I usually just load up my favourite games in order, give them 200 spins or so each, enjoy the bonuses or not and then decide what to do – usually not much has happened so not much lol.

In a way I’m glad of the timing being delayed until now vs the original plan to do it sooner as losing the slots and autos during the lockdowns would have been hell – that little hour of fun most evenings got me through some dark times.

It’s makes me sad we’ve gone this way but I don’t suppose it’ll get any better anytime soon.

I’m kind of going off the game. It seems like it’s got all this potential in it but it’s not like when Danger retriggers a couple times and you know it can’t do anything other than go mental. This can at any point just do nothing for 10 spins and a bonus is over in seconds. I haven’t had the 10x but the 3x has paid $0 three times in a row for me (only had it three times). I’ll probably play it once or twice a week until I really get annoyed with it or get the 10x one time. It does what it did to you to me then I’ll have at least ‘given it a chance to pay’ lol and can just never look at it again 😀

in reply to: Any good slots I can play with 5p/10p bets? #107960

I’m a 10p player too (most of the time) just to pass the time and I’ve had some really nice hits starting small (at 10p) then moving up through the gears if you get a few 400x wins. Or just grinding out an hour or so and going to bed if not lol.

Novomatics are my go to. They pay out the 100x+ wins way more often than most slots (due to them being assholes to bonus though lol but if you think about it easier to bonus slots/slots that are ‘kind in the base’ are all just taking away from the size of the average bonus – the RTP has to come from somewhere. I prefer the style where you get a bonus you mostly know you GOT a bonus and that’s a night that’s going somewhere vs you get the fake satisfaction of ‘stuff happening often’ but really the balance was just whittling away with no real shot of the ‘big potential’ the game has but can’t ever pay out because so much is dribbled out ‘being kind in the base’. Obviously other people prefer different things but for me 80%of my play is Novomatic) and they let you play the bonuses slow/enjoy your time/use the gamble features lol etc. Just had a lot more fun with those than most of the ‘newer style things’. And I’ll never play any 20p slots unless I hit a big win earlier in the night so it rules out a lot of the newer ones anyway.

How about a —- Novomatic locking wild games wild line challenge…

So Garden of Riches, Rumpel Wildspins dual wild line challenge – not sure if there’s any others people prefer? Those two are always my favs but I’ve never had the wild line bang in early in the bonus but even a ‘one  gapper’ early can keep paying out 50x a spin+ for the rest of the bonus so wild line must be sweet if it positions itself early.

Loving the power up content btw – I think you forget we all watch you for the banter, jokes, seeing the games and the style of commentary you do, the stakes are pretty irrelevant so seeing something new/different every day has been a lot of fun especially at that time when i’m having a glass of wine after work and a chill.

And like you always used to say on the high stakes videos – people can always imagine it’s 10x more or 10x less whatever you play anyway!

I had this ages ago when I wanted to play poker again. They’d decided to lock my account and request tons of stuff during my ‘time off’. Sent it all in and AGEEESSS later lol when I’d almost forgotten about them and given up I got an email saying I was verified.

Compared to the <1 minutes wait for documents to be checked on Video Slots it’s a bit ridiculous. PokerStars just isn’t the same business it was during the poker boom – it’s a ‘cash cow’ business now that the new owners seem to be trying to turn into a casino on all fronts (all the new high variance, high rake games like spins) while at the same time slashing costs.

I think everyone worries too much about justifying if he’s a good person or a bad person or this kind of nonsense.

The Bandit’s Slot Channel… is a business like a popular TV show.

    He’s the star.

I got sucked into this idea about how streamers make their money, what’s going on behind the scenes blah blah.

But recently I’ve just gone more with – is this enjoyable/does it bring some fun to my life/is it better than X alternative crap on YouTube when I’m unwinding at night and chilling in bed.

The truth is for a lot of us almost all of Bandit’s content is good for what we want it for. He might be a nice guy. He might be a dick. I don’t see why we care – he’s just a character that he created to entertain and to make a living for himself and his family. Enjoy! or don’t I guess.

in reply to: Sack off these low stake Bonus Hunts #102703

I voted yes to sacking them off as given those two options that’s the one I’d go for assuming both options were the only ones and even possible, but I will say it’s hard to do a new style of content – even The Bandit himself says at the end of #2 “I’ll get better at these”. The key to whether they keep getting viewed/achieve his goals for the videos financially personally I think will come down to whether he can get into them a bit more.

I’d never done a bonus hunt before – I thought they’d be pretty boring but that first one he did was quite fun with some low stakes bonuses actually coming in bonkers so I tried an (even lower staked) one with a few hundred for fun and actually quite enjoyed doing it. If he can get some buzz out of it/actually feel like he’s gambling somehow or just get across more of his usual flair in the videos (maybe some format tweaks, I dunno… 10 spins at the end of each bonus at 3x the stake… get some extra luck or bonuses – that’s what I did in mine but no idea how fun that would be on video or whatever).

I also won like his first one (doubled the starting roll lol) so I think that must be a thing – always win your first bonus hunt. I’ll avoid repeating Bandit’s mistake and not do another one today but probably will check his next few of these out and see how he adjusts them/things he brings to it.

I doubt it’ll ever be my favourite format that he comes up with but Reel King was a bit of an ATM for a while and without getting ahead there it’s hard to imagine it being remotely possible to film videos ‘like we’re used to’ in that sense so I’m happy to be open to new formats and giving them a watch for a while.

I think it definitely should be banned and all withdrawals should be virtually instant. And sites should have software in place (I believe Video Slots do) to make sure the software doesn’t let you break bonus rules by mistake. If you have a balance in your account you should be 100% confident it’s yours and it should be cashed out within minutes.

That was one of the things that attracted me to the Bandit’s content tbh – watching him be honest about sites and even leaving up rants at customer service on the live chat during videos etc… phone call issues etc with some of these sites. You know a lot of streamers would just brush it under the carpet and not mention they weren’t playing there anymore etc but a lot of these sites are just fkn terrible.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. Proof of wealth is only relevant at time of deposit not withdrawal so it should be illegal to use it as a method to block people withdrawing winnings. I had such a nightmare with LeoVegas I just gave up and donked off the money in there – 3 weeks trying to withdraw it and sending in ridiculous answers I just couldn’t take it any more.

It’s no safer these days playing on some of the regulated sites who do things like they’ve done to you here as it would be just playing on some random donkey show that had ‘meh not too bad’ reviews on ‘meister back in the old days.

I know it’s tempting to take these offers but quite frankly it’s just not worth it. How many times do we read a thread like this. Just play with your own funds and they can’t touch you – can they?

Yeah I couldn’t second this more strongly. I stopped taking bonuses ages back (10 years ago), but foolishly took one with Grosvenor recently and I’m still waiting for anyone to bother to reply to me but assume I broke some rule or other.

Of course it’s the one time you actually get lucky and there’s something to cash out is the time you make some tiny mistake or w/e. It was ‘a lot’ of money but because I’d used a bonus I kinda felt as the near 1000x was pinging in on the slot that ‘oh well I’m not getting this’ feeling lol so didn’t even enjoy it at the time lol which made breaking my ‘no bonuses’ rule seem even more silly!

Really wish I’d stuck to my old ‘no bonuses’ rule… there’s always some little thing they get you on. For the sake of what 100% up to $80 or w/e rubbish is on offer these days… not worth losing a few grand over the times you get lucky and they find a rule you broke by mistake, all for 20 minutes extra play it gives you the times you lose.
