honesty has to be the best policy for you. It’s obvious your parents care for you and want the best. You’re lucky in that sense as gamblers we put people threw hell at times. But right now, either way she’s going to find out. If you rufuse to show bank statements. She’ll know why. Or if you do. They will be transactions on there.
Whether the transactions are big/small, doesn’t make that much difference to a non gambler as it’s still gambling. But it sounds like your not in to bad a place, either gambling or financially if you can pay the extra this month. So explain that and we’re your at and I’m sure you’ll be fine. No one ever really gained in the long run by lying. Plus, if you’re worried or embarrassed about things it’s clearly playing on your mind.

1Massive kudos to you and to anyone else who’s taking that step to eliminate/reduce gambling. Massively difficult things to do.
Been reading many of these messages and GameStop repeated threads, which there seems a fair few of at the minute. I have experienced to many failures at stopping. Although this time I’m at 6 weeks and counting.
All I would say to people is, whilst you are getting some decent advice on here, despite a few I’ll advised comments, all head over to the GA message boards and forums. Not saying people here aren’t in the right place to get info, but over there you will find many recovering addicts and also tips and info on their experiences and are generally in a pretty good place to give out their advice.
Just my opinion. But again bob on for all the gamstop and refrainment from gambling if that’s what you feel you need!

Here’s something I used to do when I did gamble online.
After a big win or when funds where still reversible, get a friend/family member to change your password and not give it back to you until it’s processed. Heck you could even give it to someone on here to change it for you if you trust them.
Fair enough for voicing your opinion, although there are surely a couple of fairly simple options.
1. Don’t watch the video.
2. Don’t log on to the forum.
I can’t decide if I totally agree with it all, (the figures involved are huge and me and the Mrs and having a third go at fertility treatment and it’s getting expensive) but it’s not me in the situation. I know what we can afford and what the bandit can afford is up to him. But fuck me. It’s belting entertainment and must be a roller coaster of emotions for him.
Fair play to him whatever he earns. We probs don’t see the work that goes on behind the scenes in terms of time and effort to create content for the public domain.
Each person could stream, but only a few actually do.

This reminds me of a gambling tale though. I had just moved to york, and within about 6 days, without telling me. My best mate thought he’d move himself in to, no bother as I were new to the city and got me drinking buddy for every night of the week. Well, he used to be pretty hefty stakes (in my eyes, obvs not some on here) on football bets. But was a sneaky fucker as didn’t always like the attention when he lost.
So, he has on this acca, tells me he had £60 for approx £600. 4 teams winning and comfortable winning and Norwich, his last team drawing. So we’re watching the last 20 mins on footy focus waiting anxiously for any news from Carrow road. Nothing. Time ticks on and all the full times are coming in. Then news 96th minute goal, Simeon Jackson, will never forget his name, pops up with a winner. My mate is going off his tits. Next door are in the garden looking at me and him as we dance. Me thinking it’s just £600. But he’s spanked £600 on the bet for just over £6000 return.
Not quite a misclick but decent effort which resulted in a pretty run old night after that.
Still fairly new here. And read the comments and threads to fill in my time whilst at work. Very proactive job as you can tell.
But the thing I don’t get, is why? Why do people comment with vitriol and derogatory comments. What do you gain from it?
Normally in life you choose your actions to get a counter reaction. But in the history of man, I don’t think any has ever thought. Hmmmmmm. That guys been a twat. Let’s give him loads of money or whatever he wants.
Just felt like a rant I suppose. The general consensus of most people nowadays is what’s in it for me. And it’s a sad world if you live your life like that.
