Hindsight is a great thing, done my balls in at arcades more times than i like to to remember, played at them for many years, same with pub slots,i use to be the loser friend that basically sat on the fruity all night while everyone else was having fun, spunk all my money then have to borrow off friends just to get more pints…sad times lol

I reckon the vast majority on here were members of the “lend us 20 til payday” brigade mate….. That’s me through and through too.

And I think Ive worked out why these videos have made me feel like this…..its literally the big comebacks.

How many times I’ve been pressing the start button on a slot or a FOBT or watching the last race come under orders with that horrible feeling of dread and guilt and desperation, only for a result to come in and bail me out. That total feeling of relief at breaking even or making the loss manageable or even a small profit is almost intoxicating. It’s on a par with a big hit for me, as when you place a bet, you are kind of expecting/hoping for a win but when your spaffing your month’s wages away, and down to your last few quid and you get that miracle hit….. Its an incomparable feeling.

So yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s what the appeal of these videos was and what triggered the urge.

Apologies for the overanalysis, it’s something I need to do for my own benefit.

    Cheers

I genuinely get so so so so many emails and messages from people that say the opposite, they get their fix from me etc, of course it is going to be down to the individual whether the videos help or not but i do know that there is definitely an argument for both sides. It wouldn’t work for me if i was looking to quit as when i watch Rocknrolla i always want to have some sort of punt afterwards haha luckily i’m all good and want to spin away for my entertainment.

Those that are genuinely wanting to quit and feel that watching makes them want to play, there is Gamstop, Gamban, and many other blocking softwares that can give them both, they can watch without the ability to do their balls in, one of the best pieces of advice i have seen on how to stop online gambling is to scratch off the 3 digits on the back of your card, you can’t spend fuck all then!

I genuinely do believe they help mate, it was just the last 2 recovery videos that seemed to give me the itch. Like I say, systems in place to stop me acting on the itch and they’ve worked. Must have just been a spur of the moment craving much the same as an ex smoker has when they get a whiff of a roll up.

Thanks for not taking it as a criticism as it really wasn’t, just a little need for a shoulder to lean on for a bit by way of the forum. And I got that, so many thanks to those that commented.

I’ve just watched the latest video, and fair play, it’s right up there with the best. Phenomenal comeback and the emotion in Bandits voice actually let you know what it meant.

I hate to say this though, and it’s totally my point of view and absolutely not a criticism, but it actually gave me the urge to have a crack myself. I’ve not gambled for about 6 weeks now (massive achievement for me), and the last 2 videos have been the stuff of gamblers dreams…… Down on yours knees and then a fuckin huge run to end up in profit. I’ve loved watching every minute, but it’s also just planted and watered the seed that I didn’t want to grow.

Like I say, Steve is doing exactly what he does best, and long may it continue…. And I know these are freak outcomes that happen once in a blue moon, but fuck me it’s tempting.

So far so good, not cracked yet as I’ve got a good system in place to deal with such things but it’s tough as I’d never wish a losing session on anyone, yet videos like the last 2 certainly put that little devil shithouse on your shoulder

Rock and a hard place, guess if I resist, it’s a great sign that these videos actually do help you stop.

Don’t ever stop what your doing Bandit, as you’re by far the best out there, and please just take this post as intended, just my point of view.

    Cheers

Hi mate like urself i to have not had a single gamble on any slot in a while ,and  yes i agre its still hard , and i still watch not only bandits vids (which i enjoy the most ) but everybody else’s streams and i too get the yearning , jeeezzuuuus i would luv to have a go on doa 1 or 2 on 9p stakes for a £5r,  but i am honest with myself and i know where that would take me amd i dont want to go back there. try do what i do in these instances ask urself why u have stopped and stevie hasn’t ?  me and u and people like us just dont have the luck nor the control is my answer ???? ffs he even had £10.000 on lowry to win the open at 5/1 . Dont be daft mate stay strong ??

You’ve probably seen yourself from bandits videos that a profit is not always on the cards, and that sometimes too, it’s a big loss. Please don’t break your 6 weeks of hard work. I know the temptation is there, but you have to remember that once you put that money into a site/casino, it’s gone. If you win, great. If you lose, you’ll feel shit because you broke the 6 weeks you’ve worked so hard to stay away for and you’re down because of it ? stay strong ?

Thanks WB, the urge has gone today so all good. Its hard to put into words what I was trying to get across…. I love all of Bandits videos but the last 2 where he has come back from the dead playing numerous slots, I found to have more of an effect than say watching someone have one huge hit on a single slot…..Dunno,just seemed more like something your average slot player could do (obviously not at those stakes) which I guess is why it gave me the urge.

Mate, I can only wish you all the best and seriously hope your mum is on the mend soon….. But I’ve got to just point out that at times you don’t do yourself any favours. Unless it was a typo, getting rid of the 65″ telly wasn’t the greatest thing to type when you’re saying you’re struggling to pay for fuel.

My local cinema only has a fuckin 50″ screen.

Im asking to find out more. The reason i mostly doubt it is:

Videoslots dont control the games. The game provider does. So I dont see how VS would accept blame for ANYTHING other that system errors. ANd the only system error i can see is lost funds somehow.

Im on that forum, its me asking for more information ? I also know how to kick this up a gear if its true…

This is really interesting……. Why would VS refund this guys total deposits???

Followed the thread on TGC and he’s said he will provide details tomorrow….. Kind of gets me doubting it as something of this importance, why can’t he just post it up immediately.

I think I have to side with @ayma4quit on this one, but in just a slightly different light.

I normally get paid to bank or by cheque, so its a balance on the screen. £200 off that balance doesn’t seem to hit the same as if I were to go and lift that money and feed £200 into a fobt. I would lose my shit if I done that.

As far as winning goes, ANY time I win money which exceeds my original deposit, I already think about what that can buy. It keeps me level. I’m not sure that all of you have children, but my strategy is to think about what I can buy the little man. £200 up, that’s a trip round Smyths Toy Store. Also, I find that if I have an expendable float, if I got to £200 up, lose it and have £200 left. I would stop, and use that £200 for something for the thing I could have bought.

Nail struck firmly on the head mate….. This is me through and through. I could always take money out if I won, but fuck me, would I chase it if I lost!!!

I’ve been following the threads over there and think that JB needs to tread very carefully as he’s been quoting his opinion as facts again, but this time it’s not about a subject it’s about a person.

    Quote

“Using Dazza G as an example of someone telling the truth is not in any way useful mate. Seeing as he has deplatformed himself recently, due to being caught out doing fake bonanza videos. Removing all bonanza videos and Disabling all his comments until it blew over. Plus then adding casino links to his uploads about cute kittens! Targeting all kinds of youngsters. I mean this guy truly is a cockroach”

Yes, he’s removed his videos but has he actually been caught out doing fake videos??… I know we all saw the question to him about the GOL start screen but he did provide an answer, plus when you play Bonanza at Rizk, I’m pretty sure you always start from your last screen (would check but I’ve self excluded) and the stake is always set at the last stake you played so there are exceptions.

All I’m saying is yes, he does look dodgy as fuck but pretty sure there are laws against insinuating things against people that aren’t true and unless JB can prove his claims, he’s asking for trouble.

Maybe I’m not clued up on the holocaust as much as some. But what I do know is that war teachings have been historically manipulated, exadurated and lied about to cover up political and elite corruption.

Many of the historic teachings about war have already debunked as lies and mass manipulation eg IRAQ ?? eg Afghanistan ?? eg Vietnam ??

All built on lies, propaganda, manipulation, money and in the end POWER

again I accept I don’t know a lot about the holocaust. And maybe I’m wrong. I just go on what’s already been debunked as cancerous lies.

And maybe the holocaust is one more big lie. “Maybe”

Got to say, I actually do think it’s good to question things because if we don’t, we are fucked. And to be fair, you ask more than most which is in no way a bad thing.

However, once those questions have been asked and credible (ie backed with firm evidence) answers provided, there needs to be acceptance based on balance. Yes, there will always be a doubt about most things (rigged gambling, holocaust, twin towers, flat earth etc etc etc) but on BALANCE, the evidence is usually overwhelming in support of the accepted way of thinking.

You stated that the roulette wheel was 100% using magnets. I know its a figure of speech, but 100% is a statement of undisputed fact. This is never the case with anything and I think things like that get people’s backs up and initiates the type of responses you get.

This isn’t a criticism and hope its not taken as such. Keep asking questions but most of the time, its the answers we already have that are the most likely the correct ones.

Was it me, or was the video as glitchy as fuck too??… It was almost like one of those videos where they stitch together hundreds of different tiny clips to make one video??…. I agree JB, something smells really dodgy here.

Setting limits didn’t work for me. I used to open up new casinos account when I reached a deposit limit.

Totally get this, and I’ve been the same in the past but I’ve self excluded from that many in the past after spitting my dummy following a loss that I now can’t be arsed with all the verification nonsense to go to another

Completely agree that what suits one person doesn’t suit another, but my gambling is very much “spur of the moment” these days so I find the limits really do help keep it under control.
