One of many volatile slots that rinse money for fun and occasionally pay well and very occasionally go stellar. I just lost £40 on Lil Devil on 10p spins without a single bonus on the climb to the heartbreaker bonus. I was generously rewarded with 63p winnings on the heartbreaker bonus. It’s a mugs game mostly. On the same stake I won £128 on an ordinary bonus last week. It is a frustrating game jammin jars and I mainly avoid it for that reason. It  delights in jumping just where you don’t want it too. Bin it and be careful of not falling into the trap of thinking it owes you and chasing your money.

Had a go for the first time today and got a bonus pretty quickly. Could not believe that the triggering the bonus feature only meant starting another set of spins to trigger the real bonus. Was nice to me the first time I guess but looked like it has the potential to really take the piss. I will avoid in future, to much hard work and going on for my taste.

I enjoy megaways games but they are a nightmare to bonus and it does put me off. I get they are highly volatile but hundred of spins to get what can be, and often is a crap bonus is no fun. Clearly they must be popular as they are popping up all over the place but I only play with small deposits and stakes and am moving away from them as I can easily do my money and get very little back. At least with the bonus buy feature you could get a bonus for a fixed amount but in normal game play it can cost you a shed load more and a poor bonus to boot. I get the thinking behind banning the bonus buy option but limiting the buys per 24 hours might be a better way to go. You know you can only buy a certain number and you are done. Most megaways game are pretty dull in the base and the bonus is what you play for. Bring back bonus buys is what I say but limited how many can be bought.

Wow! Fantastic and £5 stake. Thanks for posting. Well done you. Has anyone ever had four retriggers does anyone know? I saw a video of someone having two retriggers on the Heart bonus on Little Devil which was huge.

Feel you. It’s not a good place. One arm bandit fever can strike at any time and anyone.  Gambling works on the principle of intermittent reenforcement and it one of the most addictive things known to man and once you start chasing loses it is a very slippery slope. The thinking is that it must pay soon because of what you have lost. The logic is plausible but when it comes to gambling very flawed. Bandit has taken some big losses on his videos and fair play to him for posting them. Just because you deposit big does entitle you to anything.  Very quickly it can turn from playing to win, to playing to win back.
Fess up to what has happened. Confession is good for the soul. No one will make you feel worse about this than you will yourself. Exclude yourself from every site and use your anger towards yourself to make you do it. Give yourself time. The bad feelings will pass. It’s money you have lost not someone you love and can be replaced. Seriously consider giving up gambling completely if you can. If this happens again seek some professional help.

I like to gamble but I have three rules.

    I. I never, but never gamble beyond a set amount (in my case £100 and rarely that) in a week and if I lose it I can afford it. I expect overall to lose and see it as entertainment and not about making money.

    2. If I win a decent amount I stop and take the money.

    3. I never chase it if I lose.

I learnt these lessons the hard way.

Don’t be too hard on myself but don’t in time let complacency creep in and promise yourself you will never allow yourself get into a situation were you feel like this again. I am sure you are a good person who has acted foolishly like all of us do at times. The money is got but you still have a future and hopefully people that care about you. Focus on them. Good luck.

I totally agree the Bandit deserves a big thank you for all his efforts in putting the videos and this site on line. I am still fairly new on here so don’t bring any baggage and call it as I see it. I think the Bandit’s videos are highly entertaining and need to be seen as that and nothing more. He is consistently saying that how he chooses to gamble is unique to him and that he is not setting himself up as some role model or encouraging others to follow what he does. On the contrary he is telling people in the videos I have seen to only gamble what they can afford to lose, do it for fun and not expect to make money. I get that but of course others choose to take a different view and while that is their prerogative so is Bandit’s right to gamble as he chooses.
I am sure the advice is well intentioned but I like the videos as they are, a mixture  of low, middle and occasional high stakes. I am picking up the problems he is having with YouTube and hope he can sort them.
For me the message is simple, enjoy the videos as they are or don’t watch them.

100% this. I’ve played at several places now where the information is impossible to find.

I think you make some good points. Banning bonus buys must have been based on something but you can still stake £1k on a single game of deal or no deal which does not make sense. As you say you can still go high stakes on many games raking up large loses very quickly as well. Was any particular reason given for banning bonus buys does anyone know? Maybe limiting the number of bonus buys per session would have been better option. I enjoy mega way games but they can take forever to bonus and being able to have the option was really good I thought.

I 100% agree with legal action against unregulated casinos and any that promotion them.

Both positive steps in the right direction. There will always be loop holes but not allowing deposits on cc’s is the right way to go. Gambling addiction is a huge problem.

Hi Bandit. Like many others I enjoy your videos and think you always come across as very honest and open in them. It is one thing to to upload  when you win but it’s takes real balls to do it when you have taken a hammering mate, so fair play to you. I don’t do social media so don’t see the stick you get from some quarters there but can well imagine what it can be like. I entirely get your consistent message that what you do is your individual choice and not for others to follow or copy. I think uploading videos showing just how easy it is to lose sheds loads of cash and not just win it reflects the reality of gambling. There are loads of videos on line showing big wins only and not the loses that more often than not go with them. In fact I think I have only come across you uploading videos in which the outcome is big losses rather than profit which reflects my experience of gambling a fair amount of time. While it may not entertain in the same way that winning videos do,  it certainly informs and brings reality to bare on what can and does happen when you gamble. Keep uploading mate and good luck in the future.

    ps.

Vikings unleashed. Damn hard to bonus but love the option of gambling up the free spins and multiplier. That said hard won spins can be so easily lost if if it is dead spin city time. Like most mega ways slots.
