Yeah coming back here to say I knew this would happen and he’d quit.

Small stakes are just not going to excite or motivate a high roller, nor will it engage the audience.

I honestly don’t know what Steve was expecting here.  When he first started on these stakes it was in a time where the casino streaming scene was still in it’s infancy.

Bandit grew because a) the format showing bonuses only is perfect and b) his stakes were a lot higher than average.

Now trying to throw the reset switch back to small bets won’t work.

The market is already saturated at the low stakes point and Bandit’s name alone isn’t enough to carry it anymore.

I just KNEW the moment I saw he’s trying to reboot the brand with low stakes it was always going to hit a wall at some point.

Not that there’s much incentive for him to carry on anyway, the $$ rolling in from affiliate sign ups is still humming along I’ve no doubt (once you’ve singed up through his links, you’re on the hook forever more) so there’s honestly no incentive for him to lift a finger now.

Although I’d love to see Bandit return in his old format (once a week, high stakes madness) I just don’t see the appetite.  After a few (inevitable) big losses he’s dabbled with different formats to stay in the game but we all know that the Bandit is the Bandit for a reason and if it cannot be done in the format which made him big, then there’s honestly no reason to bother with it at all.

I have to admit some of the videos early on Power Up around making $$ were interesting, but the slot videos honestly all sucked.

Didn’t Steve say he just wasn’t finding the games interesting at the moment?

Nothing to do with stakes or loses just a total lack of entertainment in the games.

His channel was getting massive viewing figures so I can’t see why you think the lower stakes were a problem for the viewers.

The problem with games now is there all setup for massive wins thanks to the megaways overload which means 99% of bonuses are usually piss poor to compensate the huge ones.

Likewise the frequent wins of less than your stake piss you off and are purely there to keep the money being recycled.

Bandit will be back when he’s ready but unless there’s some changes to the style of games being churned out it will more than likely only be for a short period of time until he loses his mojo again.

There’s also a red bonus on sausage party, the play button goes red when he does the little jump.

Only ever had it once myself and it gave the mustard jar feature which chucked in loads of the top symbol.

Might be another one for the challenge if the bandit fancies it.

He updated his Twitter about half an hour before this thread was started.

He’s currently working on a video but won’t have it ready until tomorrow due to family commitments.

    Hi all,

I must admit Monopoly live got to me for a while as well.

I think it’s because you can go back and look at the history of when these big wins happen and then ask yourself the whole what if question.

I did see some guy claiming he always chooses to play after this technical break / dealer change as it’s got a history of rolls and decent multipliers coming in.

I have also noticed most big wins come in the early hours tho which is convenient as I guess it’s when there player numbers are at the lowest.

Im not in the everything is rigged category but I do feel this game is manipulated and a dealer can spin the wheel to avoid certain areas when they wish to.

People say they cant see the wheel on a screen or anything but they have enough sideways glances while preparing to spin to know how much force they need when they do release to avoid a large section of the wheel.

    Well that’s my opinion anyhow!

Isn’t the lockdown in almost every country stopping the massive jumps in case numbers tho?

Regardless of if you fancy your chances or not have a look at the below from a friends wife and then decide if it’s worth the risk for you or your friends and family?

This is from the wife of one of our friends on Facebook,

Please read this. We have lost one of the most inspirational people to this virus. This is what family’s go through. # here for the GREENS.

For those who think the rules don’t apply, or I’ll be ok think about what this brave family have had to go through. They’ve lost and amazing husband, dad, grandad and friend. No one deserves to be on there own and no one should have to let their loves fall asleep alone. Amazing words Lorraine. Thinking of you all, just let this sink in!

“I know there’s alot of rumours / myths about what happens to the patient when they have COVID19 but I would just like to tell our version in case anyone thinking it won’t happen to them
Mark was first told he had a cold but a few days later when the breathing problems started we called 999..
When the paramedics took Mark they were sorry but only he could go, understandable but he was in the best hands even though he was ALONE
Don’t really know what happened between 11-30 and 4o’clock when he was put onto ICU, numerous phone calls and couldn’t find where he was but he was still ALONE
Now on a ward all we could do was phone up every two hours to hope for the smallest bit of news, they tested for the virus but wouldn’t get results for 24hrs, wasn’t allowed any visitors not even his wife, laid in bed ALONE
Every day we’d cling onto the words of each ( brave ) nurse and picture him in our minds if they said he was on his front or his back, Still not allowed to see him, they would ring with any news
Ten days he fought ALONE with no friends or family to hold his hand
Then the phone call and it was from the doctor, telling me how much they’d tried but my husband was ‘ likely to die tonight ‘ and to come to the hospital. They were sorry but only I could go into him
At hospital I had to wear the gown, two pairs of gloves, shoe covers, hair net and full plastic helmet type thing with oxygen attached and blowing in to me
When I got to him he just looked like my Mark but asleep, felt like he was joking and was going to wake up ( I even asked him to )
I had to beg and beg to the nurses and doctors to let my kids in telling them I needed them, they had to get suited up too
Oldest daughter wasn’t allowed in because she had just had a baby and his own mum wasn’t allowed to be with her son because of her age, they had to watch their dad/ son pass away through the small window of the door to the ward
We could only hold Marks hand with plastic gloves on and tried our best to kiss him through a plastic visor ??
Such a sad and lonely end for someone who was such a beautiful and happy ” people person ”
Don’t think it can’t happen to you! The rules are not there to spoil your fun they are there to save yoI.

Hi and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply.

I hope by just opening up and admitting how bad things are it may well be the start of the road to recovery.

My mum does now know I have been using her account but this was actually down to her receiving a phone call from Bet Victor after I deposited a decent amount last week and then self excluded the account.

Nice of them to check if there was a gambling issue after the funds had ran out.

I think as mentioned by a couple of people my best option is to now speak to her and then Gamstop in her name as well for the next 6 years.

As for myself I still have over 4 years left on Gamstop and have already restricted by debit card to not allow gambling transactions (including bookies) and lowered my cash withdrawal limit to the lowest I could £200.

My next step is to remove cash withdrawals from my credit card as between that and my debit card it’s still so easy to lose a massive chunk in an arcade between them 2 cards.

I have self excluded from my local arcade at the start of the year and now find myself set up elsewhere just with a little further travel, again this needs to stop.

I do feel like I am ready to stop and as previously mentioned do I really want to be that old man in the bookies?

Thanks again for those that have given advice and for those wishing me good luck.

Got to say I agree with PsychicSnail on this one.

Maybe not in the bandits case but in most forms of life it’s the people acting normal who are in-fact hiding the most.

I almost feel guilty now for some of these big losses as I feel it’s us the viewer who are almost forcing the bandit to keep producing these videos and going by recent tweets Steve himself is struggling to find the time and motivation to make them.

I’ve been a long time follower from the JPF days when the bandit was JPM monopoly and he had his magical coat full of £20 notes when playing FOBT roulette with keykeythe1 and steelfix (would love to know what happend to them).

I’m a massive fan of everything the bandit has done so far but even I now wish he would call it a day on the videos before everything he has is gone.

I watched yesterday’s upload and it actually hurt me watching deposit after deposit disappear knowing what the end result would most likely be a feeling most of us can relate to knowing we’re in a hole that we’re not going to get out of.

Steve has done some wonderful things through this forum with giveaways, promotions and some heartwarming charitable donations when people have been in a reel mess.

I wish him well in whatever he chooses but wouldn’t be at all sad if he knocked the videos on the head for a while and takes stock of the situation.
