I can only see this getting tighter and tighter for us UK Players. Although i applaud the bonus buy removal. It still doesn’t make sense while other high stakes slots  and table games  exist. Which can only mean they will be next on the agenda to make sense of bonus buy removal.

I would move to Malta if i could lol.

I did CBT and it helped me out a lot. It broke things down for me into small packages,creating goals. I had a major gambling problem which was enhanced through my depression which i am still being treated for. i would get paid on the 28th of each month,transfer my mrs what was needed and then blow the rest on the slots. By the 29th i didn’t have anything left,i would then get payday loans out to try and get it all back.

I just lost total control of the gambling (no gamstop then)it got hold of me pretty bad,and the thing about it is you get tunnel vision. You don’t realize the damage it can cause to loved ones,it was as if i lost control of reality and i just felt numb. It was a terrible time and i am very ashamed of what i did because i was always someone who valued money. And to think this all started from a bit of random mail i got in the post from a casino back when no deposit on sign up was rife. Up until that point i didn’t even know you could gamble online,it never even crossed my mind.

Im glad to say the CBT helped bucket loads,i still gamble now,but i spend no more then £20 a month and i stick to one casino and that is a huge step because i would easily deposit £600 and up each month. and if i make a £10 profit i cash it out. It helped me value and look at things in a totally different light.

I would recommend Gamstop but it can also be a ball ache to get back with a casino after the exclusion period ends as my friend is finding out.  But personally what worked for me was getting a hobby. I got myself into astronomy and now do astrophotograpy and also got into plastering.

I get where your coming from,i have had a bonus after like 500 spins on Genie Megaways which wasn’t that bad because the base game was nice,didn’t pop out of his lamp once either. But the bonus itself didn’t give more then 20x, And this has been the case for most of the Megaways slots i have played,never have i reached the heights of 100x+. But this is just down to the potential these slots can offer,the majority of the time you are just going to get turd. Thats why i don’t really play them now. In fact i actually find them quite boring to play.

I play more play’n’go’,quickspin & thunder kick and even Elk due to the fact i just find them a lot more entertaining to play and look at. Blueprints well they are just re-skinned rubbish imo.

I never did bonus buys,but i am glad to see the back of them. But the issue i have is with the UKGC,ok they are trying to ”protect” players ,but you can still do 10k bets on table games,you can still spin (on some slots) £100+ on slots. Its as if The UKGC don’t actually think about a situation before they act.

The UKGC need to be careful, because for UK players i can only see the problem getting worse. I would go as far as saying that max bets may soon be down as low as £2 like the FOBT’s. And if that does happen its not going to be viable for the current UK Licensed casinos to trade in the UK. We have already seen a number of casino groups pull out of the UK market already.

This could lead to a influx of rouge Casino sites taking advantage of the situation, so that is why the UKGC need to be careful and think more before banning something over a problem that a  small minority of people  have. Because id like to think on a whole most online gamblers are in control and bet within there means, Should they have to be punished for the small minority who can’t control there gambling?

Maybe it will bonus a bit more often then Magic Mirror,can never get a dam Merkur games to bonus only ever manage 3 bonues on Merkur games and i play them at least every session.

Never managed that gold card on the bonus. But i am amusing for a longer bonus,walking wild ,with a multiplier and a wild symbol. With walking wild it doesn’t use your spins (if you get a wild of course) so it increases your chances of getting extra picks.

But its one of those things isn’t it…is it predetermined? we will never know.

Yeah Extra Chill is a horrible slot. i don’t even play it on the base game just for the fact i would get sucked into gambling for those extra spins.

I got myself into debt with gambling awhile ago,i am now sorted but i have very strict restrictions in place. I have deposit limits,also i have a set amount that i can spend each month (set by the mrs).

One thing i felt hard to do was quit completely. Just didn’t work for me as it was sending me depressed. But with much tighter controls i can still do what i enjoy just at a fun factor level, where as before i would just Degen to the max chasing all the time.

Its a horrible cycle to get into and i totally know how you feel. With gamstop soon to be a requirement for all casinos to be apart of i can only see less and less of these type of posts popping up which can only be a good thing.
