18th July 2018 at 9:21 pm #11587I would upload everything to Dailymotion. Then have a new account on YT and link to dailymotion. Everytime you upload a new vid use the same tags and titles and one link which is hidden via a shortened link to dailymotion and upload all your vids and back catalog there. I know lots of my YT channels who do that since the adpocalypse.

18th July 2018 at 10:57 pm #11592i have watched the bandit from before he was famous—- and with this affiliation thing going around i did not think he was doing much — yet the amounts that are being questioned are very high indeed. 15–25% depending on the site. -when youtube closed the account a lot of people said that steve was promoting gambling through affiliation.he was making a lot of money from those “other affiliates” the same as other people. yet on the other flip of the coin steve was paying out in the raffles for each site with his own money.
maybe he needs to show just how much he made from affiliate links — and how much money is spent from his own account. !!!!!!!.
both accounts need to be shown but we know that will not happen. unless there is only one.
once things are in the open then we can make an opinion —- but keeping quiet well its only going to make it worse.
if you have nothing to hide then please tell us the truth.
you told us how much you spent in one year over all those sites and it was a lot.
do you have transparency to tell the truth.
time will tell.

18th July 2018 at 11:08 pm #11593I did exactly that, in a video all about affiliation. It kind of goes to show how much notice was taken of it when you didn’t see it yourself lol I’d link it but oh yeah, there’s no channel anymore.
You said yourself, you watch the videos for free, why does it bother you so much to know my exact earnings?
I’m not really sure what you mean when you say i was making money from those “other affiliates”, any affiliate earnings i had came from the casinos you saw me play at.
19th July 2018 at 8:26 am #11609Promoting gambling in this current environment is wrong…everyday we read stories of people stealing, borrowing and putting themselves into debt, the running of raffles promoting gambling is against the advertising/promotion rules of YouTube.
Parents are wising up to what their kids actually watch nowadays…and kids have easy access to watch the videos which is illegal, the fact you can hear kids in the background is not good, not good at all.
Kill the raffles and constant hawking of the casinos that pay you to advertise, make it less accessible to children and maybe this will be resolved…

If this was the case, are youtube going to ban game lootbox opening and stuff like that? I doubt it very much, yet that’s gambling isn’t it! and kids can play that game as well. There was even a thing on the BBC website about this yesterday.
