See I was under the impression that any bank transaction locks the amount away instantly ….. so if you check on line after buy ten ponds of fuel, you’ll have an account balance of £ 500 and then available balance ….£490 … it might not have been paid out to the petrol station, but it’s earmarked and unavailable for you to use …..
