So as the title says I have had 4 motorbikes stolen in as many years, 1 was actually a hire bike i was given after mine was written off in an accident (not my fault)
I actually livei n quite a nice area but it is plagued with youngsters nicking motorbikes and riding round the woods/fields on them, on the rare occasions they do get recovered they have done so much damage to them they are classed as write offs. This last theft that happened overnight they even cut through the heavy duty chain and padlock. On this occasion it was just mine but there have been instances where other people have had theres stolen.
Now the issue I have, I am registered disabled and classed as a vulnerable adult due to mental health issues as well as some normal health issues. Due to the mental health I am deemed unfit for work. Now due to the previous thefts my insurance premiums have risen but also my excess has gone up meaning this time around I am only likely to receive just over half the value of the bike so actually getting a replacement is going to be extremely difficult for me.
It was nothing special, a Honda Vision 110cc valued around £1200. What really irks me is these little rats have no idea they effects a mindless thing like this has on someone. For me my bike was my lifeline, if i was struggling I could hop on the bike for a ride and forget all my problems, or it would be used for me to attend gp/chemist and hospital appointments. So really was something I relied on, and this now has just ruined all of that.
Sorry it is not a gambling related post, I think I just needed to vent somewhere.
