The psychology of gambling is probably unique to the individual. I know in the past I’ve felt a sense of relief when I’ve busted. Only yesterday having a little flutter on slots I was up and down so much and at the bust point on numerous occasions that when it came I just got on with my day. I understand for others this may culminate in frustration that leads to redeposit after redeposit but I walked away happy as I had had my fill and a relatively fun time doing it. The value of money for me is irrelevant mostly, standfast the days you blow a massive wedge and feel like a c**t. I’ve celebrated a £10 on a 8/1 horse like I’d won the lottery yet barely registered emotion on a £150 3/1. It’s such a strange beast.

Bit late in the day I suppose.

My accas are usually shit so didn’t bother posting what I put on today.

Had a nice little 6 fold come in though. Chelsea, Athletico Madrid, Juventus, Pescara, Stuttgart and Marseille. 10 quid in 523 back.

Thank God for a missed pen in the Juventus game!!

That gave you a odds of 52? Damn, nice

Yeah. I wasn’t sure if it was a acca boost but I’ve just worked it out on the odds and it comes to 523.

Juventus at 19/10 and Pescara at 7/5 pretty much made most of the winnings.

So I’ve been lurking on here for a while without being registered and all the affiliation chat has made me register to throw my 2 pennies in. I think it all boils down to what side you fall on in the morality of making money from someone with a potential addiction, for me personally I feel like it would be foolish to believe that any affiliate isn’t aware that some (probably a small %) of their money is coming from problem gamblers. I don’t believe for a second that this makes an affiliate the devil incarnate, any addiction will have someone that benefits from it and for me that can be offset by a majority that view the bandit,Nick slots etc for what it is i.e entertainment. Problem gamblers or anyone with any addiction for that matter will find a way to feed that addiction. Gambling addiction isn’t new, it hasn’t only came about since affiliated videos started. I watch the bandit for entertainment and to get a look at slots I may wish to play and for me that is enough. I and probably many of you have no idea how much it will cost in deposits, time, effort to provide this entertainment and I don’t expect that to come at no cost to the consumer. That being said I do believe there to be a happy medium, personally I don’t think affiliates should run competitions involving any cash incentive on signing up, be that through bonuses or competition. For me affiliation should be solely based on the consumer wishing to support the streamer for the entertainment provided but this may be financially not viable and naive on my part. End of the day if you don’t like it don’t watch or sign up but an element of responsibility must lay with the affiliate in not enticing people into something that may have serious consequences. Standing by to be called a twat or a fanboy or whatever.
