It’s not surprising really having seen the begging threads in here over the past year, people will do whatever they can to get a free hand out..

I do hope that Seedy goes through people who have tried to put in multiple entries and bans them from the draw entirely. If it’s just an additional entry they might have done by accident then fair enough remove it and stick them in the draw but for the people who are clearly taking the piss then just remove them from the draw entirely.

I agree that community members and people who support Bandit via his links should get there own giveaway with a smaller giveaway offered to those who don’t contribute but enjoy watching and want the chance to be involved in a draw. But that’s just my opinion, it’s Steve’s give aways and he can do whatever he pleases with them.

Before anyone says that I’m only saying it because it would beneifit myself ill just let you know I haven’t entered the draw nor do I intend too. I’m on gamstop and I know what would happen if I was to receive a large sum of money so I’d rather not.

The fuckwits who have multiple entered are unfortunately all around us – they are our friends, neighbours, colleagues, family – greed is a disease – crass stupidity does not have just the one lopsided gormless face regrettably.

When that deposit lands in the account of the fortunate winners – it is Steve (whether motivated in part by the quest for more subscribers or whatever – who cares) making a difference in someone’s life – which is something I personally believe he likes to do. I like to believe (I don’t know or know him of course) but I like to believe it gives him a feeling of personal satisfaction – it’s a help to that winner or recipient – the sort of help he himself may have received at a point in the past – not sure – but that’s what I like to think.

I entered the draw (just the once, I think!) with the same fantasy that anyone has when buying a lottery ticket.

In early December I lost my job of 22 years. At 54 years of age I face a serious challenge getting a well paid position once again. My pension, if you could call it that, is what you might generously term as minimal (bijou). My commitments are what you might call sizeable (not bijou). Naturally I’m worried, that’s one reason I’m up at 4.30 in the morning writing this – coming onto BIAMO to have a browse, maybe contribute to a thread, enter a comp – is a form of escapism. I’m lucky, I have a great family, some great friends – the support I need is there. Not everyone has that in their lives. Many are a lot lot worse off than me.

For me, just the potential of a win in the draw is exciting. I know the odds are massive against a win but that’s not the point.

I hope that the money is not given to charity. I believe Steve gives plenty in that way anyway.  I am of the opinion that, generally speaking, Charities do pretty well – the big ones anyway judging by how many top brass they employ on big money. I don’t like the way they clogg up our high streets in such numbers with their free stock and free staff, pushing up rents that force other retailers, particularly independents, off the high street. That said, like anybody else, I drop in a bag of stuff every now and again.

I’ve rambled somewhat, but I think no matter who wins what when this is all sorted, Bandit will have brought a smile to someone’s face with the prize money. Perhaps the winner or winners will be someone who really needs a break and for whom the win will really make a difference. Perhaps one of the winners will spaff the lot on Book of Dead inside 20 minutes! But the giveaway, the anticipation for the people that entered and the ultimate reward for the winners is what this site is all about!

Keep up the good work Bandit, been following for  couple of years now – always a pleasure.

    Well said,

I also think loads of people visit this forum and read through all the posts, not everyone feels confident to comment tho.

The draw should happen like he said for free as I imgaine 90% of entries are from people who entered only once, and they deserve to keep the chance to win a decent Christmas present.

If you want to give it to charity when you win that’s fine that’s up to you, everyone has a way of enjoying a win,

I don’t really care whether the money goes to charity, whether The Bandit sacks off the whole idea and keeps it, or whether the draw happens and someone who only entered once wins a prize. I can pretty safely say it won’t be me anyway, I have the worst luck with raffles; I could enter a raffle of 3 people and 2 prizes and still not win.

I appreciate the view of making a charitable gift instead of a draw after the way some people have abused Steve trying to do something nice and open to anyone. Equally though if the draw happens, I don’t buy this argument of going oh but it’s a gambling forum, whoever wins will just give it straight back to casinos anyway so why bother. If you win a grand and want to spunk it having a good session playing at stakes you can’t normally afford, that’s none of anyone else’s business. There’s no moral obligation on a winner to do something with the money a bunch of internet randoms deem suitably worthy. But I would love to see a draw one day where the prize is specifically that some money goes to the winner’s nominated good cause, or perhaps a charity video where the bonus wins go to causes nominated by forum members.

Cocaine, Buckfast, slots. That’s what the winners should spend it on. That’s all I deem to be acceptable. ?

I don’t understand why it’s such a big problem. Bandit clearly said that only one entry per IP. It takes a small script to delete anyone who entered twice with the same IP. There are probably some that used VPN, but how many entries one would make that way? Not that many I would think.

well me and my wife entered the comp we live in the same house so the ip would be the same .,i have been a member for a long time and my wife joined a few mth back as she started to watch bandit after she sat with me every sunday.i can understand if it is the same person trying to scam more than one entry .so if it makes us as cheating then what happens if i and my wife both enter the videoslots draw as i enter the draws every mth .,fact i have email address and debit card all in my name my wife has her own email address and debit card in here name it is the fact that we both will have same ip as we live in the one house as you do when married with kids, would be great if seedy or bandit could clear this up and if it ok for the ip being the same but 2 people to join the comps

Yeah they probably looking at new accounts with the same ip that have appeared over the last week or two, rather than established ones like yours and your wife’s which she made a few months back…I think it’ll be the really obvious ones that get turned off, the boys  seem on the ball with tech and would know to look out for people living in the same houses and stuff…..

I mean Im worried about about me and my 100 pretend brothers that live in my attic……….. did I say pretend ….. I meant real ….. totally real ……fuck

Agreed Ben. Ive been watching going on 2 years now but my girlfriend started watching with me maybe 3-4 months ago. She doesn’t gamble but enjoys bandits personality and loves the high stakes videos as she gets nervous and excited lol. When we watched the lil devil video I told her she should join BIAM and join as she has every right like everyone else. So to ban multiple entries on the same IP you would need to know each person’s story as to why. That doesn’t include people who would have used VPNs. I think its way too hard to make it fair so like I said before I think the winner chooses a charity.
