Sorry didn’t see this post mate or else would of replied last night. I sincerely hope you do get there in the end. It’s certainly not easy and as much as gamstop is a great tool to help. A gambler will always find a way if they choose. I think it’s taken a while for me to realise it’s all down to the individual in the end. Good luck and there’s plenty of us on here if needed.

That was my problem i signed up to gamstop then went in arcades. What was the point in using gamstop. 3 weeks ago i decided to stop all slots betting and online poker ( mates account). Your right it’s not easy and i don’t know if I’ll keep it up but im going to try my hardest so please don’t fall into the trap i did of just substituting one form of gambling for another.

Yeah it’s such a hard habit to kick mate..Ive never really been one for the bookies personally…I did used to go in when I was younger and play but always hated the atmosphere and generally most of the people I met in there who more often than not would  badger me for a few quid or start telling me what numbers to play and just generally annoying the fck out of me. As soon as I found online gambling Ive never been back in one but literally the day after signing up to gamstop while walking past Willy Hill I had such a strong urge to go in and place a few quid in.. thankfully I was late for work so I didn’t have time . I can’t imagine the urge will ever go away it may not be as strong after a while but I reckon I’ll always be a gambler at heart.

Same mate. I was born a gambler. I’ve no idea what the next week or month will bring. Haven’t got a clue. Could fall off the wagon anyday. I’m not giving up my sat night poker though. It’s only a tenner and i enjoy it. The rest I’ve had enough of. Said before that’s why i never tried to persuade you to organize another tgc v biam cos i thought you may end up on gamstop yourself. If i can stay stopped i going to do some comps on here for money. Might just be only £50. Was going to start with date and time of xbobs new born. I’d get more fun out of that than having a lapse.
