Love a sweepstake mate. I normally go in one every year for the national. Usually one at my local pub. It might be difficult to arrange to get the money off 40 people though. If there was a way i would definitely pay to enter.

Would it be a good idea instead of the £10 cash back they would get free entry into a draw. The next 500 people would be in a free 5k draw or is that just too complicated to change the rules now. They would still be getting a £10 free bet plus free entry into the draw. Maybe the thought of a share of 5k is more appealing than £10 cash back and may look more feasible.

He was rubbish but i got one theory right of Robertson providing the assist. It was just the wrong player in the box. I can’t take anymore stress lol. Yet another nail biting finish.

Unfortunately got one pair all night. It didn’t go well controversially losing most of my chips then went out the tournament. I was asked to check it down with a 3rd player all in. I only agreed to check with ace jack. Ace on the turn and lost to a straight on the river. I asked if he would of folded as i would of bet big on the turn. He say he would of folded. So was very pissed off straight to arcade £40 in lost then another £100 in playing 2 machines at the same time. Got bonus off last few quid £50 off one. £70 off the other and hit repeat twice. Collected £280 in the end and got out of there. Pissed off with myself for losing my head this morning as it could of easily gone like last time. Fortunately i got away with it.

Its no consolation mate that we’ve probably all been there and done it. Sorry that it won’t make you feel any better but please do whatever is right for you and don’t make the cardinal sin and chase it. It’s an awful feeling when we do it. I know your feeling down right now but i promise it won’t be long till it’s out your mind and you’ve forgotten about it and you’d say what £100. Stay strong. ?

ive lost alot in recent weeks…not gambled now for about 9 days,but about 2 weeks ago i was 4.5k in(fucking extra chilli) then got very luck and hit a nice one which got me up to 7.5k which i withdrew,but all nice wins really do is make us just gamble again,and as usual over the next few days i lost the 3k “profit” plus that 4.5k i was down at one point,all wins do is give us more money for a bit longer unless we spend it fast haha.

I would gamban myself but it would be counter productive to what i do,so just have to try and be stronger/have more willpower for once in my life to not gamble and just do offers where it is in my favour.

We all know we’re down in the long and if i go out and let’s say win a grand it’s only money I’ve lost in the past. The difference is the loss is written off because if i thought like that I’d be in chase mode permanently. Not to mention probably permanently depressed. If i lose it’s gone that’s it. Nothing i can do about it. Sometimes it’s nice to win and just enjoy it but as i said we all know we will be down in the long run.
