If i had a grand, I’d just be upfront with everyone because then atleast I’d have money i could say i didn’t gamble, or that i did and had a win and I’ll stop there. Would be easier to explain if i had a win from the site ive been using but ive only been withdrawing 50 quid here and there, which doesn’t cover my losses. May aswel just come out with it and be honest, thanks for advice.

What is done is done. Bill paid off and I’ve blocked siru mobile deposits so no more big phonebills. Limits set on my account im not signing up to anything else and I’ve banned myself from local bookies. Think I’ll be just fine

This is my advice, do with it what you will but I’ve seen this scenario play out many times with many people.

It was an upgrade so still paying the same contract. Just paid that debt off and had a bit oeft over in my bank, 15 quid as i have taken cash out to keeo in the house. Just won 100 so withdrawing that, it certainly is happy days mate. I’ll be just fine i know i will be.

Im not saying that to be a dick I just have been in the same situation before and I wish I would have stopped before I did serious damage to my finances and got myself knee deep in debt. Of course back then I wouldn’t have listened to any advice about stopping however but maybe think about it.

I appreciate your advice and i know i have a problem as I’ve just recently came off gamstop, in the past year while on gamstop i have paid off over 20k debt, inly debt i do have is my phone contract with a bill for tomorrow of £245, i have today been and got a new phone (upgrade) and sold it to CEX, moneys in my bank and my phonebill will be paid, just a shame im stuck in a 3 year contract for the sake of 245 quid. Once i get a bit saved up I’ll just buy a new phone out right. Back to the gambling situation, I’m no where near as bad as i was – limits getting put on my account once i post this of 50 a week which is affordable for me, i just went daft last week and today. Problems sorted now so happy days, and have money left over to get wasted tomorrow ?

Little update, I’ve just tried for a phone upgrade with 02 refresh and its allowed me to, so tomorrow i go and collect my new Samsung s10, hoping my bill has just been added to the contract. Going to be blocking that siru mobile payment for sure!

Thanks for all the replies, i have made my mind up in returning to the slots but obviously on a much lower scale money wise. I had racked up 20K debt with payday loans and i had to stop the gambling in order to pay it all off, which i have and im living comfortably. I’ve went with dreamvegas and will stick with that one, i understand 50 quid isn’t a lot for bonus buys so i may just stick to 50p a spin on the slots, maybe a pound. I have addressed all of my issues i had in the past and sorted everything out.

I have made an account and i have money in the bank, but i am not depositing just yet. Is this 100% match bonus worth taking or not? I i know the wagering requirements are ridiculous so not even sure I’d hit them with just 50 quid. Limits are in place already too.

Been there many times in the past, sorry you’re going through it now. It’s not easy everyone here knows that’s the truth, get signed up to gamstop before you come in to anymore money, also self exclude yourself from any bookies within a few mile radius. I done this and today my ban is up, not going to lie i will be making a new online account, but its getting a limit put on. Hope you get the help you need
