I wouldn’t say the bubble’s burst but the market is heavily saturated now and it’s harder even for well established big name streamers to attract new sign ups and keep up their revenue. Seems like everyone and their mum has a slot channel on YouTube now, but unless you’re getting 50 affiliate sign ups per video it’s going to cost you more to make the content than you get back. And it’s annoying me now the increasingly dodgy looking casinos being promoted in this desperate chase for revenue, “Hey guys, Gary Smith Slots here back for another session, I’m over at Super Jackpot Win Win Win Triple Seven Slot Heaven Casino Dotcom today, if you want to click my link and sign up they’re doing 200% bonus on your first deposit…” You click and check the terms, £100 deposit with £200 bonus, have to wager £200,000 to make a withdrawal, bonus winnings capped at £25.

Pretty much this. Everyone is after a slice of that juicy affiliate pie but due to changes in UK law with gambling and the oversaturation of the market I believe most to be struggling, even the big streamers will have taken a hit with the amount of streamers after your sign up nowadays and with the sheer number of people trying to do affiliate gambling that pie is now a lot less juicy.

My opinion is that all these streamers ganging up,and all wanting to become friends (fake friwnds)… like Nick slots on Chipmonks stream, Rolla on that weirdo that keeps kissing his own feet, lets give it a spin or whatever…it was so cringe that my balls started to hurt.

When you watch them streams and see the body language and fake laughs and smiles, you can realise they are all trying to hook up to strengthen a weakening business. Jimbo and Craig slots joining together. All trying to strengthen and promote a weakening business as they know there is, and will forever more be, degeneration when it comes to streams/ affiliation Casino wise. Soon the UK will ban it.

Stopandstep isn’t helping things with his streams, he has built up quite a lot of people in the chat section hating on the videos, all none censored. That kind of makes me think he doesn’t mind and is actually of the same mind set. You can’t be hating and allowing 90% of the chat to be constantly hating on videos. What’s the point of making them if you don’t censor chat when it’s 90% negative? He does a lot of asking chat for their opinion. He plays FOBT’s a lot and that’s where most of the hate was directed, until recently he started asking chat about their opinion on buying bonuses. Weird.

Live streams are dead and dying in my opinion. Soon the only fix people will get is Videos like the Bandits here. Recorded over a day or two, or even a week or two… then edited and posted on youtube. Live streams 12 hours per day will be banned soon. In the UK all Casino related advertising will be heavily regulated and discarded of. It’s the System and the way things work. When too many people are constantly going to complain about Casino streams (like stop and steps comment section) then those with a little power will sit and look at how they can make money from such a situation and then start to make up rules that will make it look like they are trying to protect problem gamblers, but in reality they are looking at how they can make more money.

There is more fake concern and fake help being offered to problem gamblers than there is people with serious mental health problems. The NHS is in Crises and here those in power are concentrating more on problem gamblers. Self destruction is a serious matter, but those in control of their own actions should be overlooked to protect those that can’t control their thoughts/actions. Some can’t control the pain they are in or unable to live a daily normal life. Whatever the fck people class as normal these days. That’s probably another word that was made up to control people.

wow there are some harsh words against some of these streamers 🙁 some of which just want to try and earn a little bit of cash to entertain us lot. Sure some get lucky and some don’t but that is no reason to run them down. Kim (Letsgiveitaspin) is infact a pretty good entertainer and his bank roll is funded by his own business and by any wins he makes. Paul (RocknRolla) Had one lucky hit and started betting massive, Never took any donations and rarely pushed affiliation but he got a lot of stick for no reason really, Paul is a pretty decent guy and deserves a break. Steve (Bandit) has also had a lucky big hit and had entertained us all not only with some good gambling sessions but also with his humour, so what is they make a bit from affiliation? does it really matter?. He has made a fair bit from me but I am happy to know that I have contributed towards the channel. Craig and Jimbo are also good streamers who are just doing what they enjoy and at the same time letting us watch them have fun. Hypalinx too, had a big hit also won the lottery (from what I have heard) and is just enjoying himself. None of these streamers are charging you to watch them, they let you join in on their chat and engage with everyone. I really don’t see the problem. We as a community should be standing by these guys and showing some support and appreciation for the free entertainment. I don’t care about nick slots or dave lobowsky or how ever his name is spelt, if his followers enjoy their streams then leave them alone, let them have fun. Jeez you guys can be harsh.

To be fair people are allowed their own opinion. Nobody watching them should have to feel obliged to not say what they think. Everybody has an opinion and if they get banned from the chat for expressing it.. they are more than welcome to write about it in the forums.

How about nobody that watches them is in any way obliged to change their opinions. It is free to stream, so that is why it’s free Entertainment. If it is free to stream (and make money) then maybe streamers should respect the views opinion more and discard them or filter them from their comment section and move on. The problem is many people are allowed to ruin the chat section and those with valid points to make are banned for life.

StopAndStep is a weird one. For someone who gambles and plays slots on a daily basis, years in he still seems to have no idea how slots work or how to play them. I swear you could release a slot where every win gave you the option to either collect it or give it back and he’d be sitting there jabbing the give back button and going “hmm this give back button’s not very good, is it guys? it’s well due to give me a win”

He also doesn’t really promote affiliate links in the same way any other YouTubers do. He has them on his site, but he doesn’t do giveaways and doesn’t really promote or incentivise people to visit his site and click those links so I can’t imagine he’s getting anything like the revenue from it to fund his content. The popular theory is that he won the lottery a few years back and I’m actually inclined to believe it.

I think his videos are low key anti gambling. As weird as that might sound. His channel and comment section don’t match up. The like to unlike ratio doesn’t add up. It’s like 50% or more unlikes. Fake profiles complaining about him playing FOBT’s rather than play online for at least 6 months now. Same day every day, when they can just NOT WATCH HIM. Why would so many people continue to coplain about what he does 80% of the time.

In regards to StopAndStep – I genuinely believe that this guy has a learning disability. He’s just a bit slow, isn’t he?
Not only does he demonstrate little to no idea HOW the slots he plays every single day actually work, he fails to monetize the popularity of his channel. It just doesn’t make sense.

The main reason the big slots streamers/youtubers are able to sustain regular play at the stakes they play is through affiliate marketing. StopAndStep doesn’t really do this. (Well, he does, he fumbles around trying to figure out how the slots work on that one site that nobody has ever heard of…)

“Hi guys, today I’m going to do 10 bonus buys on 10 different slots. I’ve put £1,000 on this dodgy site you’ve never heard of.” [Proceeds to buy 10 bonuses on 10 different slots with no idea how most of the bonuses work.]

Additionally, I love Rocknrolla but the guy clearly has a massive gambling problem. He’s not taking a break by choice, he’s gone broke.

Yeah I didn’t want to come across as mean by phrasing it that way, but will confess I’ve had the same thought. It’s why I buy in to the theory he’s a lottery winner; I mean, it’s quite self-evident he’s not working some highly rewarded white collar profession or a successful entrepreneur.

He also seems just so easily and genuinely confused and surprised by slots, even ones he’s played dozens of times before. There’s got to be something going on there.

Really great guy, serious issues. I do massively respect his sheer balls when it comes to gambling though – I’ve seen him get a few lucky sequential hits on roulette which take him from a starting balance as low as £40 to £4000 in the space of 2 minutes, but he does that by placing bets I would never risk even if I was a millionaire. I’ve seen him have a grand in the balance and stick it all on about 6 numbers. It’s an epic watch when it lands but fuck me I would never take that kind of risk. Then again, Immersive is probably going to shaft you even if you have 36 numbers covered, as I’ve found out from personal experience, so maybe the better strategy is to just go for it.

He is definitely a special one. Did you see one of his videos where the sound obviously messed up so he basically narrated it over the top trying to pass off he was commentating real time? All of what’s been said here before I’ve thought before. And those shout outs. ?????
