I saw someone mention the bandits affiliate on another thread and it got to me a tad.

Personally, I used his link to support his channel. I could have just gone straight to the casino and got the same offer. I’ve been watching the bandit now for a very long time and he didn’t have to upload his affiliate video but he did.

If I decide to sign up to another casino then I will use his link again, to further support the channel.

I know most of the people on backinamo feel the same way as me. Surely if you didn’t feel that way, you would have just not signed up to this site?

Some people must feed off of negativity.

It’s about the education of it all to be honest. Anyone can click on any casinos “affiliate” section usually located down the bottom of their home page. They will usually see percentages bounded around like 50% revenue share introductory offer bonanza but the word that they never appreciate is “net” – 50% net revenue is a world different to 50% gross. I am also so sick of explaining that a load of my casinos are 0% it falls on deaf ears so why continue lol.

I have given real time updates on how the revenue share is worked out at various places and the real percentage you receive based on peoples actual losses is usually around the 8% mark, it is sometimes as low as 2%, yes really! I don’t think there is anyone that has used a link of mine that would begrudge me receiving £8 if they lost £100, £80 if they lost a grand and so on but the fact of the matter is for me personally, i don’t get any % of peoples losses at most of my casinos. Some of them do have revenue share because some of them are reluctant to offer a straight CPA deal, there isn’t much i can do about those ones.

Like you said in your thread earlier, I couldn’t care less if you received 100% of my losses. You are an entertainer and that is revenue.

Affiliation makes a lot of money. No two ways about it and i have never said different, it “brings in” lots of money. Before you get to see any of it though, the only reason you got it to bring in decent wedge is because of what you put out there, you need your content to be entertaining, you need the whole thing to be enjoyable. Let me try and break down what i need affiliation to cover for me before i actually get anything out of it… take this last month for example.

£1,770 – Grosvenor Giveaway
£1,500 – Paddypower Giveaway
£2,000 – Betfair Giveaway
£1,000 – Bet Victor Giveaway
£1,500 – Videoslots Giveaway
£2,000 – Wild Swarm Giveaway (Yidfather)
£2,600 – Fat Santa Giveaway
£1,000 – Random Forum Spot Prize
£1,800 – Poker Bounty (Fairzz)
£500 – Christmas Eve Quiz
£800 – Random Forum Spot Prize
£2,000 – Random Awards Channel and Forum
£2,341 – Seedy’s Bonus
£500 – Website Recurring Cost
£2,900 – Employment commitments including PAYE, Pension etc
£240 – Office Rent
£120 – Accountancy Fee
£1,000 Charity Donations (that i can remember)

These are the costs that i can currently think of, guaranteed there are a few more.

These are the costs of what i have been doing for the last 30 or so days, the total is £25,571 – this is the amount of money that is taken away before i personally get anything and i tell you something else, when there is miraculously some money left…. it is split on a 50/50 ratio with a mate of mine… why? Simply because all of our ventures online over the years we have gone halves on whether it be trying to sell stuff on ebay, trying to back and lay horses, trying this that and everything, just like everything else, when we started this channel we were halves on the slots.

When i say that i try and give back as much as i can – as you can see above, i really do try and do that. You can also see why i can’t just knock out a video every day – i need time to actually go and earn the money i need for my family, affiliation is never the same amount, i don’t know how much it will be, some months it covers everything i do and some months it doesn’t. If i have a bonanza month on the slots then it is all well and good, imagine what the finances look like on a losing month on the slots?

People need to read and digest this post and quit with the ridiculous oh mr 40% bollocks – your wrath could be SO much better directed at perhaps those that do the same as i do but give fuck all back. I’m not some super affiliate, does everyone think i earn more than everyone else or something, is that why it seems to be me that gets targeted most with this sort of drivel – it baffles me – i give a fuck ton of it away lol

I always find it bizarre when people are against things like rev share. That money is lost, regardless of who it goes too. People are basically kicking off that the affiliate receives a % of the money rather than the casino getting all of it. Why that is something to kick off about I have no idea. I think ignorance is a key element.

Also I think people are fixated too much on the word “losses”. It’s a share of the casino revenue, which is player’s losses, yes, but if you’re against that, then surely you’re against casinos/gambling as a whole, right?

It is probably worth tagging on that the things like random spot forum prizes were more a product of me having mad wins on slots so less to do with affiliation. The Swarm giveaway for example, came directly from a result of me actually swarming on Casumo, it isn’t something i can do to that level every month if the wins don’t allow lol

People forget that you put hours of your own time into creating ‘entertainment’ for the masses (i put in inverted commas, just because some fucker will not see it as entertainment, but whatever). Anyway, you dont force anyone to do anything and if people are happy to pay a concert ticket to see someone live or pay their TV license to not go to prison, then I kinda see what you’re doing as the same thing.

We as loyal followers and gamblers are simply paying for entertainment, but we have a choice not to if we dont’ want to be affilliated with you.

Right, realise I’m waffling now, but you get what I mean. You’re a fucking top lad and your videos are, for me, the best out there and no-one does it better or comes close to your level of entertainment and personality.

Respect for explaining all this but I don’t think you need to for the few trolls that exist. I bet 99% of people don’t care what you get through affiliation, I know I don’t. Majority of people are here for the entertainment I’ve watched your videos for over a year and I still look forward to the next one. People don’t have to use your casino links so it’s pointless people moaning about it. You even do free giveaways for people who can’t use casinos.

I think personally 99% of moaning about affiliation is straight up envy of the perception that someone else gets to gamble and play slots without having to risk (quite as much of) their own money. It’s basically “I’d love to be able to afford to play a grand on the slots twice a week but I can’t so it’s not fair someone else can”.

How many of those who berate Steve for affiliation would be doing exactly the same thing if they’d thought of it first?

Yeah think that’s spot on . It’s envy . He is doing something we love . They moan because at the end off the day if u want to start , u have to start with nothing it will cost a lot off your money for months before u get anything bk .
