Hi thisgirl 2019 I’ve just had to go back and read the threads again where the word Jaffa was used and I had commented below it, in my mind the insult from Stevie was not directed towards you but to the poster who commented about you which was under the belt.

A jaffa is an insult towards a males genitalia, like the Jaffa orange Seedless lol

it was common insult used regularly many moons ago, which is why I commented

I hope this clears it up for you and please don’t think my comment was in any way directed towards yourself or your post.

2 – The mental instability of some people. How many people have been fucked off from the forum or have tried to get free hand outs of you. When they get pissed off they rejoin the forum under different usernames and try to get money out of you in other ways. Over the years you have been very careful in protecting your identity as in not publishing your home address etc (which is common sense) but have you got something in place for the night to make sure no one tries to follow you home. Not trying to scare you with this mate; my main field of work for the last 14 years has been close protection/operational risk management and there are some fucking horror stories out there

3 – I honestly would not put it past someone to delibertleey cause a kick off just so they can post it on youtube for a “look at what happened at the Bandits piss up” or a “I caused shit in this pub” video

I am not trying to say dont have the meetup but I think you need to be a little bit careful with it. How well do you actually know the members and the potential crowd that is going to turn up. I really do think you need to have some sort of vetting in place for this or at least only select certain people for the first one. Yes you might get a lot of people complaining that they are not invited but you dont want to end up in a shit situation. What your trying to do for the pub is a good thing as they are struggling and it would be good to have a meetup with the forum, but you need to look at the crowd dynamic that might turn up.

Just my thoughts.

I think people know my thoughts but anyway it’s not up to me. I do think it’s an excellent post. It just shows what kind of person you are to express such concerning thoughts. As ever your first thought as always is for the well being of people. Fair play to you mate.

What gets me is the recent go fund me attempts by some damm right lowlife crooks. A phone and a fuckin bike. I reply with the hardest upsetting post I’ve made on this site to be blatantly ignored and have the piss been taken out of us by softening us up earlier in the day. Regulars, decent genuine kind supportive members of this forum will leave. Are leaving infact been pissed off with these types of people. I’ve been dying to say this all day. One more person who comes on this forum asking for a handout for a fuckin phone bike or decent food even though they even had over 500 euros will get some shit off me. That rikki bloke pissed me off. As far as I know it’s going ahead. We’re meant to have about 14 players ( that’s going by how many people said they would play) but tgc will sub us a couple of players to even the players. They have at least 18. We have to pick 3 horses per day. Selections in by midday each day. We can nap one selection but I’m not sure how the scoring system will work. There is no entry fee. Just bragging rights.

Unfortunately what you have said there most of us know to be true. For anyone seeking advice on the forum I have always suggested gamstop. Neither option is perfect and both have flaws which I won’t mention. If an individual wants to stop there are measures and sites which will hel such as gamban and gamstop but if a person still chooses to gamble they will find a way. There has to be some form of will power from the player for these organisations to work.
