    Never Win WANTED $4

    Hi,

I do gamble nearly 10 years mostly on Football and Horserace but new to slots around 6 months. I only play on Betfair.

After 6 months I can see I have huge lost yes for me it’s huge (Around 9K)o Arcade and Casino slots on Betfair.

I checked all my Game play carefully and I can see :

In most slots I played First  I won like 1 K in my 2/3 play times but after some days if I go again on  that same slot it  just take money, do not give any huge win or decent<span style=”font-size: 1rem;”>b bonus. </span>

I do not have any idea why it’s like that?

Does those slot keep track of my account that I had won previously lots and take it back once I go back to play ?

    Or it’s just my imagination?

    It’s all random ?

Eejit can probly shed more light on this.
however it’s called RTP and in your case it started off positive and now works it’s way to balance out. Variance is a bitch and will allways kick in at some stage.

You can’t play slots for a living however poker I beg to differ, as I played for a few years on a staking deal that proved a reliable income.
But slots never you can never make money only play for fun. Once the fun stops run

I’ve always hated the saying “when the fun stops, stop” when I was really bad online and in the bookies the fun wouldn’t stop until my bank declined the next deposit

RTP hurts my head so I’m not going to attempt to explain it ? Eejit is in London, so guessing he won’t  be on the forum until he’s  back in Malta.

The basic premise of RTP is that you will always return to the average – over a long period of spins. Take for example betting on the flip of a coin – it isn’t unreasonable to think of 5 tails in a row, followed by 2 heads and then another 3 tails. This obviously means in those 10 flips, it’s 80/20 Tails to Heads. However, after you’ve done 1,000,000 spins – that number is going to come down to 50/50 as firstly you are going to throw a lot of heads to balance that out, but given it’s a fair coin – you should theoretically have a 50% chance either way you bet.

So in the case of RTP it’s the same deal except it isn’t a 50/50 chance but rather a 90% chance of having a return. So if you do 100 spins you might get a return of like 500% of what you started with – like deposited £100, did £1 spins and now have £600, that’s a 500% RTP. But say your next session with £100 you get like 40% return over the same number of spins – you are not at an RTP of (500%+40%)/2 – 270% – I.e. the more spins you play – the quicker you will regress to the mean.

It’s basically the law of large numbers – if you perform an experiment or something with a known theoretical outcome enough times, you will end up with that theoretical outcome every time.

    Hope this helps.

This. I breathe a sigh of relief when RTP is described correctly. ?

It’s random. There aren’t control measures in place for the casino to ‘bring you down’ to the listed RTP, merely they are set up to do this naturally based on odds anyway.

No, the opposite. It doesn’t matter what game you play and whether you’ve lost or won. It’s random.

Yep! Pub fruities still work in this way. 🙂

If it uses the term ‘compensated’ and not ‘random’ then you know the score.
