Along with those croupiers who can hit a certain section to make you lose, I hate those people…. ?
222nd January 2019 at 1:02 pm #41475Yeah I watched last night, real disappointing end to what was becoming an epic stream, blew a balance then won it all back and some. The tilt off sicbo was horrible, ‘I’ll bet small’ a minute later and a grand down goes full tilt. Thing is he plays in such a way he can win massive off a small deposit fast but lose a big balance just as fast. Last night was hard viewing though.
One thing I will say is the chat in his streams is getting toxic. People wanting him to lose or urging big stakes so he does. Didn’t sit well with me at all and has started putting me off, definitely not such a fun view anymore. I think that’s why I’ve leaned more towards bandits way, videos with no dickhead comments but a busy forum which for the most part is constructive and friendly, you’ll always get the odd troll and chancer.
its just because off how many people watch. Gonna get a few nob heads .
22nd January 2019 at 2:29 pm #41488Totally agree but to me it seemed the nob heads were dominating the chat at times. Problem is with his set up with the twitch messages down the side you can’t hide them.
Him n bandit are my favourite streamers, just my thoughts on the chat yesterday and obviously a brutal ending.

Surely the player has the edge. The player can stick or twist on 17 but the dealer usually cannot! Plus if the dealer is up against a full table then wheres the edge?

Not defending the casinos mate – I hate them. But the house edge is there. The biggest is that they have to hit on any numbers below 17. Most people stand on say a 14, but the house does not.
Oh ok never thought of it that way….yeah your right.

It’s very simple to understand house edge. The casino offers you pays which are slightly lower than the probability of you winning. In a single deck blackjack hand, for example, if you are dealt an ace as your first card your odds of hitting blackjack on the second card are around 32% but you win is only 3:2, so you’re being paid as if it had a 40% chance of happening. In roulette, you get 35:1, as if winning has a 1 in 36 chance of happening when actually it’s a 1 in 37 chance. So there is a small built in advantage to the casino.
It’s just basics.

Thats all they need though mate is that very small edge to make decent money. If you think that if you had an edge of 1%, but could operate something that was constantly spinning all day every day, then yes you would lose some money every now and again, but long term you would receive a profit of 1% on everything that was deposited.
The slightest edge gives massive earnings over a long term plan
For example if you played no limit holdem against a poker pro – you would win some hands, either by play or by luck. But after a while the luck balances out especially against someone who understands the game and has a solid edge. Eventually you end up skint.
The idea with games like blackjack or craps is to understand the edge and play the strategy that either reduces the edge or flips it in your favour. Thats why casinos now play with 6-8 decks to prevent card counting. At its basics, card counting removes the edge the casino has and transfers it to you. You will still lose some hands, but over a long period of time make a profit as your are only betting big when the edge is in your favour

I wouldn’t say the house edge is only small though, the fact that you have to act first is a massive advantage for them. Just think, if you are playing basic strategy and the dealer is showing an Ace, 7, 8, 9 or 10 and you have a hard 12-16 then you have to hit, if you bust then they win outright.

Paul and Bandit are the only streamers/YT uploaders I watch and I think Paul’s a great guy but he is a compulsive gambler and whether people are willing him to or not he would still of played it the same way regardless. If anything he tends to be more sensible on stream then when he is off stream recording because he doesn’t want to disappoint people with an incredibly short session but even with that he does go busto rather fast some nights trying to get an acceptable balance to play slots. Thats just the way he gambles, he’s admitted himself that if his missus didn’t handle his finances then he would have gone bust long ago. The ones urging him to lose are the ones getting pissed off that he blows off a massive balance on huge bets but like I said that’s how he gambles it’s his money not there’s, he’s not interested in a small score he wants to push it and often it doesn’t work out but when it does he hits massive doesn’t he.
All streamers have complete dick heads in them. Nickslots has the biggest wankers in his chats
I can’t watch paul for very long, he’s got a massive problem gambling wise and he’s such a nice bloke I can’t watch him do his balls on stream. Its time he started moving towards Bandits style of video imo, do the video off stream and upload it. Because that last night is his usual stream, its amazing youtube hasn’t stopped him doing live broadcasts. 10k blown in minutes ffs.

Paul’s highlighted video about 58 mins or so much better and said so. Did say his commentary wasn’t a patch on bandits commentary though ?. Not tarnishing anyone but Nick slots streams are late morning till mid afternoon. Are these people who watch on the dole to be able to watch at this time.
122nd January 2019 at 6:48 pm #41602haz dude belive it or not pal some of us have jobs aswell bud but are to poorly to work and 4 or 5 hour streams are brill to take your mind off the pain abit in the small hours in a hospital bed ive been on this chat all day as well it helps me not to feel asl only as im on my own in a room full of beeping machines steve and paul are my somthing to look forward to lol bandit put a vid up on friday the 18th thatbwas my 40th birthday one of the best gifts i got lol i watched that vid 3 times that day along with a new rollllaaa style flat cap x

That’s why I said mate I wasn’t tarnishing everyone with the brush. There is good and bad in the chat part to every stream. I was more referring to myself not having the time. There might be people watching who work nights as well. so please don’t take to heart. Also I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

But the way I look at it if there watching his stream (nicks) they aren’t out causing problems in the community. The people who are long term unemployed are unemployable anyway, most of them simply wont hold down a job because they are to much trouble. If they are on the dole and sit in acting pillocks on a youtube live stream chat then that’s good. Or they could be out wearing yellow vests and smashing everywhere up, thus causing the tax payers grief when they end up in prison into the bargain.
