Has anyone signed up since the new rules came in?
Thought it would speed all casinos up with the process as can’t deposit till its done. I’ve signed up to one of the few casinos I’m not already a member of tonight, immediately asked for documents which is a good step, sadly still takes 24 hours to process. So won’t get to play tonight, suppose its a good thing, with my luck at the moment they’ve saved myself a few hundred pounds!!! ?

116th May 2019 at 9:02 pm #66027This casino is verifying me upon signup,cant do anything om the site till they verify the docs I have sent them. Cant even olay the complimentary free spins, depsoiy or anything. This is the better way to do it, just thought they would be quicker.
Always thought verification on withdrawal was a stalling tactic bit maybe some casinos just dont have to he Staff. Think they may lose alot of casual ‘spur of the moment’ custom if they’re all this slow verifying on signup.

16th May 2019 at 9:29 pm #66033All casinos I joined up before the rules changed seemed to verify me to some extent upon signup, normally see on my credit file that they’ve done a soft check. I thought since the new rules came in (for UK players anyway) they had to ask for, and hold docs before allowing you to deposit.

Only if they can not verify you themselves,lots of smaller casinos wont do this as they have to pay to verify someone,large casinos/bookmakers dont mind taking that £10 hit or whatever it costs them to verify a new player,assuming they will get that and alot more back.

This is easily my biggest hate. Won 4K on admiral casino and as soon as I wanted to withdraw my account got suspended and asked to upload documents.

I’m guessing it was as it was around 3 weeks ago.
been a member of that site for about a year and never been asked before. It’s a joke ?
17th May 2019 at 7:07 am #66068This was what I guessed would happen. And I know its a pain in the backside, but it really is a good step.
Doing this at the start saves time when you make your first withdrawal. Also, it will stop those who have used all their deposit limits on other sites by giving them a cool off period.
17th May 2019 at 12:13 pm #66085I joined a new site (Mansion Bet) who let me deposit funds but wouldn’t let me use them until I sent in ID. Ridiculous if you ask me surely don’t let me deposit if this is the case? Needless to say I closed it straight down as it felt dodgy
17th May 2019 at 9:37 pm #66119Well I’m finally verified, took longer than the 24 hours stated but kudos to the casino in question for doing it before depositing. I will depisot there in the future, dont have time for a session for the next few days, they probably save me losing last night anyway.
Do wonder, how many people will be put off by these delays though when first signing up, bet if all casinos start doing it this way they’ll get alot quicker at it.
