@Lionheart – follow my advice. You’ve got nothing to lose by trying it.

    Lionheart WANTED $2

    Today’s phone call

was told by first agent and then their manager that due to me self excluding from their site the winnings ultimately had to be forfeited… after asking for my deposits back because I shouldn’t of been allowed to sign back up they told me that the deposits are also unable to be refunded due to the terms and conditions of my exclusion. Apparently in their it says whilst mr green does it’s upmost to prevent customers who have self excluded signing back up, ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of their exclusion and that any gambling with them will result in loss of any potential winnings and their deposits.

They said that had I signed up using the same address and card details that their system would of picked it up and instantly locked, but because I have a new card and address unfortunately I slipped through the net.

As immoral and annoying as fuck as it is I kinda have to accept it… my own fault in fairness but just comes at an annoying time and was hoping it was a turnaround.

Will definately be be far more diligent when choosing a future casino in order to avoid this kind of problem.

thanks for the advice biohazard but after reading through forums I think the only chance I’d have of the decision being overturned would be if there was any fault of the casino which unfortunately I don’t see any… yes it’s hard to swallow and shows just how much the casinos have us by our short and Curlys but fuck them.

Do not accept it,atleast make a complain to IBAS if that is Mr greens dispute agency to get your deposits back,i dont think you have a chance of getting winnings but might well get that 1k deposits back,it takes months but the worst that can happen is they side with mr green so nothing lost,Friend did it with videoslots not for a self exclusion though, but 10months later out the blue he got his money as IBAS sided with him…dont just let these crooks get away with it without atleast a little fight….post on there twitter account your story also, make a fuss.

    Definitely fight this.

The rules are there to stop people from essentially freerolling, self-exclude, deposit and if you win then great and if you lose then claim the money back. however your situation is not this, you won and so your money is still in the account. at the very very very least you should get your most recent deposit back as this is quite literally still in the account.

I would make a case on either Askgamblers or Casinomeister (if they are registered there)

Also, as a side note, although it might be tiresome to do, i always verify my account for withdrawels before playing anywhere so that i know im getting any winnings. For a long time i would win and not be sure if i was getting anything back because of any number of problems that may occur, and a lot of the time would spunk money off because of this.

This is utter nonsense,  they can’t do that, 100% fact, open a case with Ask gamblers,  you’ll have the money back within a week.

Well personally – that is another nail in the Mr Green coffin for me. I don’t see how they can have it both ways. Yeah so you have joined somewhere you self excluded from, is the self exclusion period a life thing? Is it not 5 years?

So because their system didn’t work, you are penalised – it seems utter bollocks if you ask me. You definitely need to go down the route of complaints through those places that are mentioned by others, i believe casinomeister and askgamblers have specific contacts and use set paths to present the complaint, you have nothing to lose there and it shouldn’t be a lengthy process.

I’l then add that if you do all of that and get nowhere – you will have to screen shot the stuff for me and the results etc but if they come back and just fob you off, i will send you the £1039 back myself.

Stop being so generous lol,the beggers will be out on mass, not saying this guy is doing anything like that his is a genuine story and didnt even seem as down as he should be because of it..

Thinking about it a little more i can kind of see why they say they cannot give back deposits,as like someone above posted, ppl could just play then demand what they lost back, but come on they cant think this guy did that as his self exclusion was 4 years 7months ago, just 5 months till it ended,he had lost previous deposits and never asked them to return any as he had no clue he had self excluded with them, anyway,i wold atleast do what ppl say here,if that fails try IBAS and just wait a few months to see what they say.

Thanks for all your advice and help.

I read a bunch of stories earlier and the success rates seemed extremely low, most of which just being that they got a small amount back such as their very last deposit that they ended up getting the winnings from. (Which in my case would not be very good as we did a £200 and then a £50 so would be a lot of hassle for £50)

I think I am gonna go down the complaint path but not with much hope, it’s one of those things where they just get us with the fine print or amongst the war and peace essays know as terms and conditions

bandit if I remember right with self exclusions most casinos offer a few options such as 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 year and then self exclude forever.

Will have a look up at the options that people have mentioned to complain to and see where it takes me.

    Cheers all ??
