Just curious to why people play slots do people play for fun or do people play chasing a massive win me myself before I quit was down to greed and an insane addiction could get over 2k in front and there was no cut off point so would end up losing the profit and emptying my pockets into fobts so just intrigued who here really knows when to quit

I play as a chill out really, a break from constant thoughts full of figures and trades and green outs and fruit machine testing, pretty much everything i do on a daily basis needs concentration which exhausts the fuck out of me usually so to just sit there for a few hours with nothing else to do other than click a mouse and watch is almost therapeutic lol

And a sub note to the bandit when you start a vid and have a good win do you ever get tempted to just collect and end the vid or is there an abundance of 3 minute clips from the wins on the cutting room floor

Fun for me aswell I don’t play to often but when i do its only around a 30 to 50 pound deposit ?

Sometimes yeah i am tempted to just go wow, that’ll do but usually, if i get a big win straight away, i haven’t really played long enough to satisfy any sort of gaming craving i may well have had at the time lol

It used to be about the money for me. Chasing the expensive house, car, holidays etc. I then discovered that I could get these things by saving instead of trying to get a quick hit.

I play a lot of poker now, but to me its not the money that interests me as much as outplaying other people on the table. If i lose a big pot due to someone getting lucky but I have made the right decisions throughout the hand, I am not hard on myself.

My only main problem (apart from the FOBT lucky escape a couple of weeks ago) is playing craps when Im in vegas. But I do love that game. And the Mrs knows that Vegas is my blowout holiday.

Always liked the slots even from an early age. Childhood holidays to blackpool was the dream. Didnt really play to much online until i started match betting the move over to casino from there was fairly easy with discipline. Now though i would say i play for fun

Slots are fun (most of the time), that’s what it’s all about. Micro deposits and tight limits.

I do have a crippling addiction to Bandit videos though ? there’s nearly always one playing on the telly box in the evenings ?

As gamblers I believe we have always gone beyond recall at some point ie gambled money we should not have gambled had to hide stuff from partners related to gambling as iv said before I got into debt from gambling which I’m clear from and I sometimes sit and think where I would be if I hadn’t ever started gambling or on the other hand if I never quit gambling reading alot of the stories on here of the depression of gambling ie losing the rent money nearly being homeless not being able to eat and I honestly thank my lucky stars for having a wife that changed my life

Amen to that I take the Mrs and kids to Thorpe Park twice a year now and honestly they hate it lol I keep saying it’s for the kids but sadly think this year is the last I will get away with that

I see it as purely entertainment, I’m not one for going out boozing or gallivanting so i pay for my entertainment via slots.

On the other hand I do believe I have an addictive personality when it comes to most things I take interest in, the key is excess, everything to excess is baaad!

I would say I play for entertainment or to escape reality for a bit but if you ask my wife she would say I have a addiction. I have never played slots more then £1 stake if truth be told, I normally do play the 20-40p stake as I feel I am more in control that way.

 

Like a few other’s have said I also don’t go out and get pissed or do other daft stuff so slots is what I like to class as my time as I work hard and we all like to have something to ourself out of our money before the other half spends it all ???
