Doesn’t seem that unreasonable, they are showing concern why you needed out and writing a letter  protects them from blame if you/somebody else was to have a massive bank balance destroying relapse…but if you did self exclude your self, it normally doesn’t come from a good place ( compared to time outs which everybody takes from time to time ) perhaps stepping back in isn’t the wisest move…but we don’t know you sooo

I’ll balance the argument out a tad, I use 21 and videoslots and to be honest my hit rate is pretty spot on for both, they do have low rtp games which I’m happy not to go on, but on games I play I’ve not really notice vs from 2 years back being any different to 2 days back… ( of course certain games rtp lower aside )

The problem with the bonus buys happened because you had plebs crying to the “whoever’s” about  a bonus buy not “ being fair “ and “ how we are loosing money” on a £200 buy in, then the whoever’s step in like a wank captain marvel saying

“ we shall save you pleb” ,

they banned it, then all the plebs realised it can cost them even more to bonus, an insane amount of time to bonus (because the games were built with bonus buys in mind )

And at the end of the day, there were more outcry’s  over random piss poor result in bonus buys than a game you can spin £250 a go …..personally I believed they would have done far more good banning the over £100 stakes or £50 and perhaps limiting the bonus buy amount to £100/£50 equivalent. ( and table games is a whole other kettle of fish…man it bugs the shit out of me that bonus buys got canned
