Hey Rikki, how are you getting on with the anxiety ? I’ve had panic attacks for about 10 years now. So I know about triggers and breathing exercises, stress and of course what meds I take. I actually endured them for a whole year without meds because they offered me diazipam and there is no way on gods green earth I was willing to become addicted to them, as opposed to at worse, dependent on something else. It’s a long drawn out story but I have ok days and bad days, the occasional good or better day.
Also, aside from staff here knowing your email address, don’t worry too much about talking about this issue on the forum, they are a good bunch and they care too. It’s a down to earth place. Do you know about the official panic attack website ? Can’t think of it off the top of my head but I am sure a quick search will find it. Dunno why I am typing that and not just googling it for you, in case you don’t know of it.
I to have put on a bit of weight as a result of many (feels like) billions of days when I am no use to anyone. I don’t walk far and due to a head injury I don’t run. Cycling is a great way also swimming is the best for all over fitness.
Onwards and upwards 🙂
