Back on topic well kinda after going through a few sentimental bits my old man gave me in amongst it was a diary of where he wrote his big wins but was from the fruitys back then in 2000 and in 1 week alone he won over 4k now obviously not sure what he put in as his reply was anywhere from 40 quid to 500 quid lol but just shows what it was like back then fun fact tho my dad was the first ever winner of a 1000 pound jackpot in Scotland that is my claim to fame lol

Yes we talk video calls a lot but he has blood transfusions every 2 weeks and after 10 days or so he has no energy so at the present time it’s play it all by ear

Thing is and a lot will find this strange I feel extremely lucky as we get to spend time with him and say everything we want to a lot of people are not fortunate enough to get to spend time with loved ones before they go where we have time to make memories that we can treasure so really I am one of the luckiest people in the world

Update all its official my old man has around 2 months to 6 months left on gods earth myelodysplastic syndrome with fibrosis is the full term and my old man being his usual self says he may be a dead man walking but he’s rare as fuck in all honesty I’m not long back from Bonny Scotland seeing family and having unlimited fun conversations so come on people let’s just live life to the max as we never know how long we have on the planet

Life is not supposed to be easy mate and we have had some good points as well but just now it seems to be harder than ever after everything we have had to deal with but I am also blessed I have a wonderful wife that helps we have got through Christmas all 3 kids had an amazing day and now time to focus on the journey ahead

My dad has been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome with fibrosis and there is nothing they can do except keep him pain free and keep giving the blood transfusions they have told us to make the most of the next 6 months so that is exactly what we will do
