I just watched Friday’s video (posted 17th July).  Was great to see Reel King, Captain Venture, Garden of Riches, The two Goonies games and Top Cat.  I don’t remember Rumpel Wildspins back in the day though but it seems a similar flavour of other Novamatics from its era.

You (Bandit) mentioned Spinal Tap.  A shame that wasn’t available.  It was utter bonkers!  You could buy the “band pass” thing for around 60X which had numerous side features and some main features.  The UK Gambling Commission classed it as a bonus buy though so it was removed from the game.

The UKGC also banned auto spins, quick spins and reduced the max stake to £5 as per in this video.  If you played on Video Slots however, the 30-minute warnings only appear once per hour and resets back to 1 hour when you switch games, so you wouldn’t have seen any warnings if you played out the same games on Video Slots.

I can see you have uploaded some of your original content from 2016 and 2017.  I’ll give some of those a re-watch for the nostalgia as well as the up to date stuff.  I like your new logo too (on YouTube and Bandit TV).

If you meant Reel King (with the purple carpet feature), it would have been the Bandit’s previous wife as he has remarried since.

I agree, 2015-2019 was peak BTG.

BTG started out around 2013ish making regular 5-reel slots such as Gold.

Megaways started in 2015 with stuff like Queen of Riches, Star Quest and Dragonborn.  Then of course was Bonanza in 2016 which put BTG on the map.  After that was a mix of MW and non-MW like Danger High Voltage and White Rabbit in 2017, Extra Chilli and Donuts in 2018, then Holy Diver and L’il Devil in 2019.

There were a few duds amongst that early era such as Book of Gods but I felt it properly fizzled out after 2019.  The only recent(ish) one I can name and really like is Millionaire Rush.  Golden Catch was a good effort on the reel-’em-in genre though and they didn’t water it down with copies of copies like Pragmatic did with Big Bass.

Tuesday’s hi-stakes video has been reinstated.

Bandit, did you get an explanation on why they temporarily removed it, or did they do a “Barclay’s bank” on you i.e. radio silence?

I don’t trust anything that’s from the government, but alas I still agree with you.  The same goes when the Bandit says “it knows the bonus came in quickly because it paid fuck all” mentality.

I was playing Treasures of Kilauea earlier this month, which is Pragmatic’s response to Wild Swarm.  The difference is that you have to pop a volcano instead of a hive.  Like with Swarm, it has a level counter.  Different notation but still effectively 1, 2, 3, 4 then MAX.  The very moment you hit MAX, the software knows it because it starts sandbagging and drains your balance.  I have a monthly limit which will reset in September but I’m not sure whether to claw back the RTP it’s had off me or just write it off.

I also think that slots with jackpots e.g. mini, minor, grand should be avoided too as they hog up some of the RTP and it’s an over-done mechanic now.

The Bandit almost said the word “cunt” during Dual At Dawn slot near the middle of the video, then during Book Of Monsters at the end, he said “bitch”.  I don’t understand why people take exception with the cunt word yet they have no problem with the bitch word.  Both are to do with females.

It’s just swearing.  The Bandit’s channel and this forum are 18+.  It’s not the Disney or CBeebies site.
