Great hit mate and that after the weekend’s antics. I’m made up for you. Like you say stay strong it will be in the bank in no time and I’m sure will come in very handy. Didn’t even see the win yesterday i must of been blind lol.

Regardless of weather or not you censored the name you still put the bloke in a ridiculously difficult situation and when people called you out you called them ignorant to the “reality” of the dark side of gambling, which as stated previously, I took umbridge to.

Theres a game called scratch day that gives you free scratch cards, you have to watch a shit load of ads but it does pay, I usually sit there scratching for about half an hour a night and so far I’ve won 24quid in the last two weeks.. Certainly ain’t enough to live on but it’s quite fun.. Drop shipping is another one but you do need a bit of knowledge, I copied a guy on YouTube who made 1k in a week and made 30something usd instead ?

For context I’m an ex drug addict, borderline alcoholic and a compulsive gambler, I understand the beast and I battle it as best I can.

This post hit home with me a lot especially the last paragraph. I’ve not managed to curb any of the three addictions mentioned and at times do lose control of one or more of them.

Only I can change it, there’s help and guidance out there of course but it’s on me to choose not to have the bet or take a swig.

It’s a struggle mate, it really is but the only way is up.. This time last year I was coming off benzos, oxy and Charlie, cutting my drink and expecting a prison sentence.. I’ve now not touched any drugs (except pot) I still drink too much but not way way too much and I’m not going to jail lol.

 

I found I often swap one addiction for another and go round in circles, in the end I upped and moved cities to change, that and drinking non alcoholic beer helped a lot.. Gambling though I find so much harder as its a very lonely addiction, something friends mostly don’t understand and you do on your own.
