Gaming facts!
1 – The stake makes no difference to the RTP of the slot. Ive seen. And ive checked.
2 – The reason you see less huge wins at £4+ stakes…. less people play them. I looked at a casino database the other day of 19,000 players, the average slot stake? $0.49.
3 – It works on the system of a roulette wheel. Imagine a wheel with 8 billion rungs, each of them pays a different amount of “x”. Whichever the RNG lands on, it spins in a visual version of that. There are usually 40billion or so to choose from. Thats why sometimes you think “ive seen this window before”.
This. Stake has zero influence on RTP. If it did then indeed, that would be incredibly deceitful, and quite frankly, illegal.
I think another key factor on why it might feel that way, you can have significantly more spins on a 50p bet, and therefore more bonuses, without really noticing the balance change compared with a £4 bet. I know when I do higher stakes I’m always watching the balance and getting hurt when it’s dropping at such a higher rate than normal. Only natural that you’d hit fewer big bonuses as they’ll be fewer of them.
That being said, it is mad how many people (Bandit, yourself included!) that report the higher stakes not returning big bonuses compared to the lower stakes. Must just be unlucky. Some of my biggest wins (multiplier wise) have been on high stakes (I once had 370x on a stupidly, stupidly, high stake).
