I know online casinos have to ask for this and Casumo have asked me twice and I sent them. They’re now saying that my betting exceeds my income. I sent them proof that my partner gives me money intermittently and sent them proof via a bank statement. They’re now saying I have to send them proof of his income and identity?  I have left the site but they’re still hounding me. I’m not a big gambler. I refuse to send them what they asked for. What can they do now?  It’s really got me worried.

Just sack them off. Seems like Casumo have really gone downhill since I was playing there. Plenty of other decent casinos to choose from.

Although I really rate Casumo for their clean, efficient site and wide range of games, they are amongst the ‘worst’ for verification.

They actually closed my account when I wouldn’t verify my wealth for the third time. It’s a shame because I enjoyed playing there.

For the record, they can’t do anything, you’ve not committed a crime. All they can do is close your account if you don’t provide the documents that they’re after.

This a is regular thing in live casinos now due to ECDD. Some of the biggest players are Chinese students who are given thousands from rich parents who don’t know the cost of living in the UK. However since these enhanced checks casinos need to find out source of wealth for the player but when they say “my parents send me the money” the casinos must by law ask to see their parents source of wealth. Best option as stated above is close the account and open two new accounts at two different casinos and do 50% on each.

I’ve only ever had SoW questionaries from he MT Secure sites, (I must be really trustworthy ?) I’ve been honest every time, I wouldn’t mind submitting wages slips and bank statements, but any queries about specific transactions would be a no go (got nothing to hide, but that is too invasive and beyond my effort level, there are plenty of other legitimate casinos) I recently had the ID verification holding up Driving Licence to face and have to say this almost made me quit.

It felt like I was being played for a fool by the automated software, move closer, place your head in this egg-shaped box, move back, don’t blink, smile more etc. After 10 minutes of my potato head not being recognised as a likeness for my ID photo through a Web Cam I thankfully contacted Live support who simply uploaded my Selfie, a human looked at it and it was verified within 10 minutes.

If automation and machine learning is the way forward, its not quite ready for casino verification, even if it works at airports.
