So I came back. Have now closed all of my accounts just now. The reason? Playing Tome of Madness and the amount of times the wilds place themselves in one of the positions with like a 10% chance of losing (literally one wild nearly anywhere else makes a win) makes me believe that the positioning of those wilds is pre-determined beforehand and is not a random selection at all. It seems like it’s already decided if you’re going to win or not. It’s happened too many times for it to be a random selection. The win amount is random, but my arse if those wild placements are random and are not pre-determined at the start of the spin. Yes, I’m probably abit salty after losing more money, but I’m finally starting to see slots for what they are – easy money for casinos. Well, no more money from me going into them.

Don’t get me started on the twat of a programmer who decided that teases like in Genie Jackpots Megaways was a good idea.

And ffs, I want to be able to watch some football without being bombarded by gambling adverts.

Time to save back the money I’ve lost.

The tile drops are not random. With Tomb of Madness, as with such games as Jammin’ Jars, the entire sequence will be predetermined from before the start of the first spin in that sequence. The amount you will win is also predetermined.

The random element comes in determining which amount and drop combination you will receive out of the range of possible outcomes. The fact that you get so many nearly wins, is like a bonus tease, and is done on purpose to tile you into spending more. At least that is my understanding.

But whatever, please to stick to your decision to stop gambling. You are guaranteed to lose and it’s a waste of life.

Slots are pre programmed, therefor can not be random. The machine only has so many ways out.

Rob, well done in closing your accounts. Make sure they are all shut and irretrievable and remember that feeling. I shut all mine six weeks ago now and I haven’t even found it particularly hard even after 30 years of daily gambling. I actually still enjoy watching the slots videos and it doesn’t make me want to play them any more. In fact I just feel relieved watching things like fruity slots and gentleman gambler that it’s not me wasting so much time and money playing them any more.

Even if you see someone else win, just remember two things. 1. It won’t be you that does that and 2. if you do, you will just chuck it all back and more just like you have in the past.

The loss on a monthly basis isn’t terrible as everything gets paid for first. But it’s built up for sure and I do think I could have money for a holiday, home improvements etc that’s now in the casino pocket.

It’s not just the losses for me, when your not gambling you realise how much time your putting into it when you are gambling it’s crazy, I’ve sat there for full days sometimes gambling all day the odd few breaks for a bit but to be honest sitting there gambling all day is just ridiculous in my opinion I still gamble but no where near as much after my huge win on lil devil I posted on this site 12,000x or summit I put a grand of that back in out of the 7 I won and I just thought I’ve had the win I’ve always wanted and I’m not just spunking it up the wall so I can deposit £200 a month and that’s it that was nearly 2 year ago and I’ve hit nothing since maybe a few 300x wins but shite prefer watching now than playing and rather bet on sports don’t lose as much and don’t spend anyway near as much time on sports betting

1) the designer

2 ) the fucker that design the logo so you can see the scatter when it lands one of the reel

3 ) the fucking driver that taught the scatter to use its breaks after it gone past or using them before the stop..

The some body made the case the bidders asshole was the person who designed the no win card at the end of a bonus….

It actually ok…. you do get a fair few bonuses, buuuuuhuuuuuuuttttttttttt… ( so I believe games are random…. that’s just me, I’m happy in that believe so put the pitch forks done  ) butttttttt if ever a game could be argued isn’t, it’s this one…the wilds have this amazing ability of landing on the only squares that you won’t get a win on… think monopoly megaways….. how you’d have two wins and the third would give you a house if it lands on a property, yet the third win carries you to a bonus card or free parking or jail stuffing your wins and houses up…..laptop breakingly annoying….. punch your children in the face frustrating….

I believe that all slots are random to a point as in the programmers have made say 1 billion combinations (win or lose) and its random to which one lands in a single spin but I think bonuses are linked to that spin but again could have an x amount of bonuses linked to them spins.

Hence why bonus hunts are possible as it remembers what spin you landed the bonus on

And if you need live chat for help or go into gaming history every spin has an ID number.

With Tome of Madness, I get that the initial spin is random and it will set you a random amount that you win – that’s fine.

I just find it incredibly misleading that it gives the illusion that the wilds could go on the give the bonus, when in reality it’s going to place them in one of the squares that won’t make a win on a consistent basis. It’s makes out that there’s mulitple options during the run of the spin and it feels cheaty when you don’t get what should be a certain wild win.

The bonus of this triggering me is that it’s now 1st April and I’ve not touched a slot since and have no inkling to.

Genie jackpot’s caused my last tilt on a slot… That fucking genie tease, it did it 3 spins a row ? he popped out on a £4 super tilt spin and gave bonus boost and missed.
