Hi all, sort of new here (in the forum) and need some advice…

I’m not a massive gambler, I will play £10-£20-£30 here and there, joined a new casino call luck.com (or con, the way it’s going on), and won a few big wins from £1000-£1800, and my recent big win was £2000, I withdrew it like normal, usually takes a few hours to arrive in my bank, but this time it didn’t, its still sat in my withdrawal history pending,

I got onto the customer service and had a chat, they said I needed to send some documents and bank statements etc and have a brief phonecall with them, which I did… Now I’m still waiting for my documents to be viewed and approved , taking ages to process though and don’t even know if they will even release it to me, any advice welcome!!

Hey. Some casinos do the checks  before you deposit, some do  after you’ve crossed a threshold, and some are juts totally random, the checks can take an age, but if it’s a simple sign up / deposit / win / withdrawl, there’s no reason for them to stuff you …

question is, is there anything that would give them reason to not let you withdraw ? Did you give false info? Win a large amount using a sing up bonus / free spin ? These tend to be the reason people lose out on winnings …

checks do take time, I wouldn’t be worried yet …11-12 days isn’t really that long to be waiting …. I’m sure you’ll be fine..

Thanks for replying, when I first joined they just wanted to see my ID like they do, I won a few amounts before that last one, and they stopped me from allowed to bet before they decided to do the checks, so I’ve got 14p on my account and that 2k stuck on pending, how long do I you usually have to wait before they finally email you? Feels like forever when you’re skint 🤣 ta

    Hello. Nice win.

That site sounds like a UK registered casino with UKGC so nothing to worry about, although I’d expect delays as UK casinos can sometimes take a long time to verify the documents and process the withdrawal.

    Hope this helps.

There’s no time you can give really, it’ll probably go through anytime now but I suppose you have to allow up to a month before you can start talking ombudsman and such, my 21 casino site took 4-5 weeks to verify  but my bet victor  took 3-4 days… it’s a bit of a nightmare time wise, but they are signed up to the uk reg like glove says so it’s definitely not a shady site, it’s juts a waiting game,

Keep emailing tho.   the customer service people aren’t the finance department but it’s good to keep on them….

i’m sorry it feels like a slog, but I’m sure any day it’ll clear for you.

Hiya, I just want to point out that you should never “need” the money from winnings because that shows that you shouldn’t really have gambled in the first place. It should be a “want”

Fingers crossed it won’t be too much longer now though 🤞

I know what your saying, but I don’t gamble that much, and mother’s day is round the corner 🤣

    *update*

I’ve sent all the documents needed and they’ve been approved, now they are asking why am I sending/recieving money from my dad/carer on my bank statements, taking the piss now, it’s like they are trying everything to keep my money! Also they have just deactivated my account for 6 months minimum! Does that stop me from receiving my withdrawal now?  They aren’t emailing me back and there’s no other way to contact them, reeeeally doing my head in! Any advice welcome!!!

    Hey Sezvinyard,

If you’ve had any conversation with the casino and even remotely hinted at ‘needing the money’ and displaying what could possibility be a sign of a Responsible Gaming issue, they will, and have to suspend your account in line with their UKGC responsible gaming responsibilities.

This will however not affect your withdrawal, and if your account is active or not, it will still be processed so long as you have not breached any terms and conditions.

They must ask the questions about your Dad/Carer in line with their AML obligations. This is a sign of a Third Party potentially using the account, or a classic Money Laundering tactic. Another note on having a carer is that you may be perceived as a potentially vulnerable customer, which is another thing the Responsible Gaming team will have to address.

Your account will now be under review from the AML team, and the Responsible Gaming Team. I’m afraid the review will take as long as it takes and there’s nothing you can do to speed it up, aside from provide what documentation you can as quickly as possible should they ask for anything further.
