I have read and seen so much about people playing with medium to high stakes (£2 and above) and struggling to get a bonus or a big base game win.

I play super low stakes, 1 line most of the time and up to 10p, I play for fun. However, I do get a lot of bonuses, yes they are most likely to be poor, but it’s fun for me.

When I do have some success I play more normal stakes, most of the time when this happens I get nothing, no decent wins and no bonus.

So I ask the question, does increasing the stake make it more difficult to bonus?

    thank you, Mike.

What you MIGHT be seeing is this:-

There are ‘probably’ more lower stake players than high stakes.. right?

So. it stands to reason, there will be more 40p, x 14000x wins that there will be £6 x 14000x stake wins. simply because there are more spins going on at that stake.

I don’t believe the software makes anything different due to the stake, only the payout.

It would be interesting if a slot provider gave a percentage of spins per stake, for the life of the machine,….

What percentage would say the max stake per spin, say £40 per spin, be as a percentage of total spins.. <0.05% i would guess.

What i want to no is was the slot goig to do what it did regardless of steak i.e you think oh i might raise because the bonus hasnt come in then you decide not to and it bonuses next spin. Would the bonus still have came in if you raised ?

Or another example if you get a first spin bonus would that of happend regardless of the steak ?

The easy answer is no. And this isn’t because stake affects the RTP in any way, because it doesn’t, but merely because a spin outcome is generated randomly based on the exact moment you press spin. The server is constantly generating new tickets, and when you click spin, that’s the ticket you get, in that moment. So by taking the time to change the stake, it wouldn’t have resulted in the same outcome.

So I’d have to imagine, if you were to click spin at the exact same time on 10p and £2, the % return should be the same. Any experts, correct me if I’m wrong here, but certainly this is how land-based slots in casinos work.

This guy knows his shit. As it’s 100% true.

Also – playngo slots last month had an average stake of 69c in euros I believe. 62p for the rest of us.
