I’ve seen a few posts on the forum in the past about people being on gamstop but still being able to sign up to casinos using same details as gamstop but maybe changing something like an email or whatever I’m currently on gamstop myself however I use my partners account if I fancy a go but she basically gives me my limits and tells me when to withdraw etc. However when I got urges when I had first signed up maybe in the first few months I tried to sign up using a different email address I tried Casumo and they realised straight away, same with video slots however energy casino have let me sign up and I believe I deposited £200 in total and withdrew £450 so I was happy bearing in mind they approved my ID and bank account which i sent pictures, even though I actually won if I’d say blew hundred or thousands on this site even though yes I understand I would be liable and just because I lost I want my money back but surely they should be able to see I’m on gamstop and I believe energy are a pretty good casino overall so what would happen basically?

I wasn’t going to do anything regardless to be honest mate it was just a question as I know some people have went down the road of complaining and stuff just wondered how far they had got+ this was a few months ago now and not with them anymore didn’t see the point I got lucky winning and just didn’t seem right having an account with whilst on gamstop defeated the object.

There have been several posts regarding people who have lost or used different details with a casino or a partner or friends account. Firstly gamstop do have flaws and aren’t registered with every casino. The ones which are not involved with gamstop are not worth playing at end of. I use my mates poker stars account. He has a deposit limit and it is physically impossible to do my balls on it. I have literally played on it 3 times. For anyone wishing to change a name by one letter or change an email address. Use someone elses card which doesn’t match the account holders name at the casino don’t do it it’s not worth it.

Like I’ve said I’m going back a few months now and it was just the itch to play as to why I did it but I realised after this and this topic was just a curious question that I was thinking about earlier on that’s all I don’t have the account anymore and I know I’m on gamstop for a reason, yeah I play my partners account sometimes but not consistently she isn’t a gambler and she’s not really interested in the whole thing so she’ll let me have a go once maybe twice a month but not all the time I had a bit of a tilt the other day just like many on the forum in the Pete tong thread so I’m chilling out for a bit need to get back on track so need a few month to do this but thanks for the feedback.

It’s a lose lose situation really and you’re lucky to have been paid.

i signed up at powerspins (bgo sister) a few years ago and made a few deposits ended up in profit but when I went to withdraw they told me I was excluded (from bgo apparently)

would not refund my deposits or pay me any of my winnings .

As above you don’t want to fuck about with trying to gamble while on gamstop, great that you know you have a problem and the big casinos aren’t going to let you gamble but if you did manage to get on some crappy casino and hit a big win they try there best to first of all ask for all the identification crap and maybe the gamstop thing will surface then and that big win disappears
