With bonus buys not allowed with UK players do you believe it affects us? For example I got very sticky with safari gold megaways. Started on 40p spins gradually raising the stake when not getting a bonus. I ended up on £1 stake after over 1000 spins and eventually got a bonus. With 9 spins and a 6x multiplier it paid £12.60. I had 2 win spins and the rest were dead.

I understand that just because I spun so much it doesn’t mean I should get money back however with so much money being spent on buys and the big wins i see coming from them. Do you think that it affects us as we can’t buy them?.

I think it does affect because as you’ve said, you’re tilting and raising the stake, doing as many spins as it would cost to buy a bonus? Could be wrong but that’s my opinion ?‍♀️

Extra Chilli used to be my thing. My technique was deposit £40, and do £10 bonus buys trying to gamble up to 24 spins. If I got there, I’d usually clear more than my initial deposit in that bonus (most of the time). Then I’d do £20 bonus buys with the winning and aim for 20 spins.

Most of the time I would do well to build the balance, but of course there would be the occasional session where I’d lose on the wheel instabin back to back until the money was gone…

And then there was the time where £40 became £15,000.

BUT NOW I never play it. I know it would take a good number of spins to get the bonus and then it would be so heartbreaking to lose on the first wheel spin and not be able to have another go straight away, but instead have to go through hundreds of spins just to get another crack at the wheel.

Point is, I think it depends on the game. A lot of games are worth playing through the many spins because the game is fun and base pays are good. Like Rick and Morty is enjoyable to spin through. Genie megaways has mini bonuses triggered throughout so that’s ok.

But games like buffalo, wolf gold and chili are not worth spending thousands of spins on just to get the bonus because you will inevitably risk your bonus or at least risk losing a good bonus in place of a 5 spin shitter.

I miss chilli bonus buys. I do get jealous seeing these European players buying bonuses for fun. Haha

They were Dangerous though for sure.

Like guffle my thing was chilli…. and I’d spend a fortune on it, one bonus  win bought a new car and so on and thanks to chilli I’m still up on the casino I was using….

with chilli, it can take more than two times a bonus value in spins  now to land a hot, but lose on the gamble ( which is your choice to gamble, 8 spins can still be epic if the multiplier goes up) I still play chilli, but my god it is punishing to get a hot, and even bigger slog to get up to 25 spins.

and although I understand and sympathise with aspects of why the bonus buys were removed In The uk, compared to £30-40 skates you can choose for 1 spin, it seems like they went after the wrong thing… ( and im all for free will on all aspects of gambling )…

again I understand some people won’t even go for chilli anymore and In part, they succeeded in curbing that aspect …for example I got to 20, part of me be like “ fuck when am I going to get this chance in the near future “ ) again it’s all down to the risk you want to take but for me it costs me far more to get the bonus I would be happy to take now compered to when the buys were available …..

As far as i understand, bonus buys are forbidden in the UK compared to the rest of the country’s. It simply tilts a sensitive player to the point of huge amount of losses. Now ive played countless hours of Extra Chilli. Really i took 65k from that game in 3 straight days. I still believe to this day that it was a bug rather then luck. The trick was to buy bonus at 500 euro. It would on avg make you lose in between 5 and 7 times, and like hit 24 spins or so after 6 to 8 times. When it paid it paid more then i initially bought in for. I kept repeating this for like 3 days straight lol to the point that i got kind of nervous questioning if the casino was ever going to pay me out or not. But they did!

But after that, i’m telling you, shits changed. On avg it makes you lose more now and many times you encounter a 20 or even 24 spins game with more then half of dead spins. Bonus buys are’nt a guarantee of a big win either. Its a genius way of those who dont want to wager for an hour, finally hit the bonus game, and lose upon first gamble lol.

yeah I’m not sure they are technically banned, @rbreen was  taking about this a few days ago, it’s a recommendation with some kind of “ penalties “ If the advice is not taken ( I’m really vague about this subject)

, I’m not the biggest fan of btg newer games like mint and surviver but build wise, their games are pretty solid, I’d just image you were on a good run, rather than the game bugging out….. but fuck, I’m not technically knowledgeable about these things, so it could be.

Base Game on buffalo is pretty good in my experience. I’ve hit 1600x – 800x A few times in the base. My best bonus is about 400x haha.

Let’s face it those games were designed to have the bonus buy. Buying a £20 bonus is no different to doing a £20 spin on roulette. If it’s the bigger stakes that was a problem then max the but to £100 or somthing. I have found that likes of extra chillie definitely plays different since the buy was removed. The feature hardly pays. The base game is super tight compared to before. Saying that I think since the bonus buys have gone its impacted other games as they also have tight base games. When you play most nights of the week low stakes you notice these things. Graphics how it plays. I do hope that one day the bonus buys come back or they make more all action games. Vikings unleashed all action with the same type of gamble.

For all the posts on here bemoaning the the loss of bonus buys – there will still be a lot of people out that will have lost everything chasing £500 bonus buys.  It’s the worst possible set up for a degenerative gambler.

buying bonuses is a huge advantage .look at all the European streamers .streamers are only really interested in the bonus as bandit said on his latest vid ,I’m sure he’d rather buy them than sit through hundreds or even thousands of spins to get a bonus gamble and lose ,or get a 20x bonus ,.basicallly if you have a big bank roll its much better.
