[The Bandit WANTED $5,352 El Bandito]

Picture the scene, it is a rather miserable Friday morning in Wrexham and ping goes the Skype, it is Mr Rocknrolla, he is off to Blackpool and wonders if i want to jump on a train and play some slots wellllllllllllll….. it hasn’t been the best of weeks for me has it, let my hair down shall i, yeah fuck it, i absolutely hate trains but i am all in baby!

Incredibly, Paul is getting the train himself, 6 long hours of torture with 3 changes so it makes my 2 hours from Chester station look a doddle eh and it puts pay to me being able to have a bloody moan about it! Right then Mrs B – I am off to Blackpool, “Whhhaaaaaaat” she says, “WHAT FOR” hehe what do you reckon yer schllllaaagggggg* 😀 and with that, she knows i am off for a gamble and there isn’t much she can say about it haha, to be fair, she is already taking the kids round to nanny’s house for the weekend anyway so i’m all good!

She drives me to Chester and we grab some dinner, nice club sandwich for me and a beef yorkshire wrap for er indoors i’m sure you wanted to know 😀 it approaches half 2 and she’s off, got to collect the 2 little ones from school and i’m across the road to the station for the first of my 3 trains! £40 return, not too terrible and all aboard!

Fast forward a couple of hours and i step off the train in Blackpool North station, followed shortly by Paul who was actually on the same train at the end and i didn’t even notice ha, what a moonhead. Anyway, i am waiting for a mate of mine to meet me and take me to the hotel i have booked in at and Paul is off to check in at his, all goes smoothly and we are back out on the town around 6pm, beer time!

The gamble is on – fruit machines ahoy. A few jars in now and we are in a lively bar with one of those digital machines with alsorts of games on, i am sure you know the type. Anyway, £20 goes in, then another and then another and then another, not going well, i get myself a £1.50 win and i am going PIE mad with this one……… £2 wins, £4 wins, £6 wins, £8 wins, £10 wins, £15 wins, £20 wins, £25 wins, £50 wins and at this point Paul jumps in a tries to save some of the £50 but booOOOOoooOooshhhh stevie boy has smashed the gamble already and BOOOOOM it’s a jackers for us, £100 lovely jubbly! More booze please, we collect out the £100 and the £20 winnings we stick in to a little pot which will now be our gambling/drinking fund for as long as we can make it last!!

ooOOOOoooh what is this, same machine but it is Reel King….. well, we have to get a win on this just to see what the gamble is don’t we haha! In goes the £20…. we get a win off a tenner i think it was £6, turns out the gamble is a all or nothing style one so it has flashed up £12 or £0, welllll, you know my, SLAM, £12 of course haha and now it is flashing £24 or £0 weeeelllll don’t wanna give you that so BANG, i hit it again and yep, it is £24. Now it is saying £48 or £0 uh oh, i’ve clearly got my gamble on haven’t i and Bang it’s hit and i bang the next one too for £96 haha, it then offers £100 or if you lose, £92 i think it said so yeah you pretty much might as well hit that one and bang it was the jackpot again so the little gambling/drinking fund just got a major boost lol We drink up and decide to move on.

Right then…

 

On we go, next pub and its a JD and coke, Kraken and coke and a Vodka and coke, all singles, £14 lol no lube available! There is a fruit machine so of course we are taking our new found gambling pot over to it and trying our luck, after a bit of this and a bit of that, some boring stuff and some not so boring stuff we have managed a Timmy special but the difference here being, we were only £80 in and not Timmy’s usual £160 😀 The Mega Streak finishes and it has given £150 whoop, two more similar machines in here and we try our luck on them too…. wellllll….. £150 for £150 on one of them and that was the good bit haha, the last one, we shall call it “a machine too far” resulted in an £80 loss dammit, oh well, we had to pay for our own drinks in this one! £24 down after those cheap singles 😀

Onwards! Litten Tree we spy across the road so over we go. Same again at the bar and seriously, they were a little bit cheaper but the glasses were thimble sized haha! One of those digital machines in here like the place before last…. i fancy a go of the pie again…. why not eh! £5 in and its another £1.50 win, £2 wins, £4 wins, £6 wins, £8 wins, £10 wins, £15 wins, £20 wins, £25 wins, £50 wins and it’s here that we stop, i’m a fiver in here lads what you reckon, well, like i gave them the chance to answer…… SMASH….. JACKERS baby haha it’s only won again for £100!

Right then, let’s have a look at that Reel King game again shall we…. oOOOoOoops, it has pots on it, they were £100 Gold, £100 Silver and £93 Bronze, i guess that really should have told us all we needed to know! Anyway, fast forward a couple of hundred quid and we finally get a pot! It gives bronze but it is £100 so that is ok, we carry on though and i manage to gamble it all the way to the end again for the Jackpot, again though we carry on and it gives the pots again! This time it’s GOLDDDDDDD baby and we have some profit! OMG what is this……. NEXT PRESS EXPRESS that’s what it is, pots again very next press, GOLD again GTFIT….. of course the bastard spits the whole lot out in coins doesn’t it! We split the coins between the three of us and they will come in again a little bit later! It’s chucking out time and off we go, it’s about 1am now….

Ahhh, Blackpool. Takes me back to an old gf I met there when messing about in the old Funhouse. Went swimming in the sea with all our clothes on and ending up smelling of something not very nice. Bit of a shithole back then!
