A few weeks ago I assisted a friend in need by writing his CV and covering letter to apply for a job at at a large UK online casino/bingo operator as a long-shot (he’s been out of employment for years) and, would you know it, he walked into the interview wearing my suit and got the job.
When he told me about how ridiculous the offices are (break room has a pool table, dart board, table tennis, free refreshments, beer & pizza for staff on Fridays… he literally sits around most shifts doing fuck all spinning slots) I decided to apply myself. I already have a job and it would be a slight pay-cut but the benefits are brilliant and it’s hardly work.
I was unsuccessful.
Currently sitting at my night job and fancied sharing my bad-beat story with some fellow gamblers.
*sigh* Back to work!
