    I fucked up.

I chased loses, I lost my wage a week after being paid. None of my bills or rent is paid and my bank is empty… I’ve been declined for credit in all forms, no family to help me out of this idiocy hole I’ve dug for my self. Don’t think I’ve ever felt lower than this before, even after the theft of a beloved motorbike.

Has anyone been in this position before? What did you do when you ran out of options?

    Thanks everyone.

So you repeated what you did 6 months ago. If I was you I’d get on gamstop and never look back.

Get in touch with everyone you have bills with this month and ask them for time to pay.

Ask your local council for help or access to a food Bank.

Ensure you pay the food bank back with food, double what they gave you when you next get paid.

Unfortunately, yes. I self-excluded from active sites for 6 months at that point. Clearly 6 months isn’t long enough for me. I will be signing up to Gamstop tonight, I’ll have to find a way around my finances for the next 3 weeks.

Just feel like an idiot, you know. Seems such a ridiculous thing to do when all is said and done.

Sadly you were playing with fire not signing up to gamstop in the first place. Its half pointless self excluding from active sites because you could easily sign up to others if you fancy a spin.

Get on gamstop now and do it for the maximum time you can.

Is the bike insured? You’ve had some decent advice, most companies are probably slightly more willing to give you a break because of the pandemic so at least thats something.

Signed up to Gamstop night. Strange, but it felt like a hard thing to do, obviously I enjoy gambling when I’m not being ridiculously stupid. I’m sure in a few months or so I’ll feel really refreshed knowing the money I earn will stay in my pocket.

On the bike side, no. The bike was uninsured at the time of theft. Long story between solicitors and MCE insurance, all because of a non-fault accident 2 years ago… Heartbroken to say the least.

Well, you’ve done the right thing now..so take some pride in the fact you decided to change your habit for the better… month will be over soon enough and you’ll be back to “ normal” ….and with the spare cash from not gambling stick it in a bank account and don’t for fuck sake leave the casinos and the pub fruity alone…..use the cash for a sweet new two wheeler
