It doesn’t even need to be a casino, that’s how spammers work. It’s a phone number, there’s only a finite amount so they just bulk send. Nobody gets targeted spam, it’s a wide cast in the hope of getting someone to fall for it

It’s not a ban, it’s a technicality based on the wording that the standards “prohibit products from actively encouraging customers to increase their stake or the amount they have decided to gamble.”

That’s not a specific ban on bonus buys. They will get reprimanded for it as having them is against the spirit of the regulations but they won’t be forced to pay people back that’s used it etc.
