This post was originally done on purpose for a very specific reason, and didn’t need all this added to it.

The takedowns mentioned aren’t a recent thing though, they were a couple of years ago. That Reddit post is 2021, things have changed and that’s why people aren’t getting the same kind of takedowns. It’s usually music copyright strikes now.

I’m pretty sure it was a group of trolls taking advantage of a problem in the YouTube matrix that locked accounts if there were enough reports and the rules were so ambiguous even YouTube couldn’t work out if the rules were being broken or not. When they work together they can be quite powerful.
