Well where do I start….i finally crumbled!

After 2 years of no gambling and rebuilding my finances and my life I lost the plot yesterday and spaffed £2.5k into some dodgy casino I could sign up to because they don’t endorse gamstop!

I feel absolutely gutted this morning. I’ve been feeling on edge for a few days since I found out I wouldn’t have a job shortly as my boss is folding his company and after an almighty argument with the wife over home schooling I locked myself in the bedroom. In a moment of weakness I somehow thought I could find a new casino and win enough money to see us through until I get another job…. What a dick!

Fast forward 8 hours and I’ve put a huge balance on a credit card I’d spent 2 years paying off, worst of all is I probably only stopped because my phone battery died! Im not ashamed to admit I cried myself to sleep and woke up this morning with that feeling in my stomach I’ve not had for years!

I have quickly this morning put gamban on my phone so this can’t happen again, I’m so angry and annoyed with myself!

So now the journey begins all over again, except last time I was working hard at 2 jobs to clear everything, now I don’t have any!

Sorry to rant on but I needed to vent and don’t want another argument with the wife during lockdown!

Ps if anyone knows of jobs going in Fife, Scotland I’d happily take anything cheers

Hey mate, that’s brutal, this whole life is a rollercoaster, but you’ve done it once and and you have proved you have the drive , it’s tougher of course, but when the shock and the adrenaline slows down you’ll start seeing things differently…

because of the situation you’re in, call stepchange… my brother law works there and the charity is absolutely immense.. they have quite a power over financial companies… give them a bell, tell the score( job – income – ) probably don’t tell them about the gambling ( it won’t change anything, but it’s a detail they don’t need) and you’ll be surprised what they can arrange regarding bills like cc… and such… doesn’t matter how you got in the hole companies have to work with you … in the uk ( I’m presuming you are ) there’s legislation about how companies deal with issues…step change helps mediate and work out affordable payments, and companies are “ suggested “ to follow their guide ….
