You see actually, “Bandit’s Problem” unfortunately stems from threads such as this, emails like this, messages like this, tweets like this – but if i try and answer one of them then God help me, i’m being “defensive” i’m being “patronising”, i’m “talking down to the people that made me” jesus wept, no actually, what i am doing is answering a question.
Lets start here – my channel is the size it is, doing as well or as badly as it is, because of me. It is down to the content i post, if my content was shit, there wouldn’t be any subs. I do not charge to watch my videos, the folk that always say “we made you what you are” – no i’m sorry, you really didn’t, you were a contributing factor of course you were but come on – i made me what i am by producing stuff people like to watch. Of course i am grateful for people subbing to the channel but why are they subbed, because they want to be notified of when i put my next video up.
When you have an audience of 200k for example, that is the unique visit number across my platforms so is an educated guess, it isn’t exact so let’s not twist any words, but when you have this kind of following, you are going to get plenty of people inside that number that don’t like you, like to give you a bit of shit, lets class that as 1% of those people, very conservatively that is…. that is 2000 people trolling/threatening/messaging shite etc – when people say ahh just ignore it, it’s not possible.
Affiliation is great money and i have always said it is… IF… you could do it without any expenses, you can’t – it costs a shit ton, my monthly expenses just for this channel and website is 5 figures – 5 figures. That includes staff wages, yes, i have staff and their related PAYE and pension contributions, no shit. The part of this post that is just pie in the sky is the giveaway part, i get 1000’s of entries every month apparently, you do realise that i get paid once, for a player, one time, one off and that is it – at most of my casinos. There is no rev share, i’ve lost count of how many times i have had this same discussion but guess what, that doesn’t matter because it just doesn’t fit the persons point. Furthermore, 3 out of 4 of my giveaways are open to people whether they used my link or not, what do you think i get paid for the people that didn’t use my link? £0. Lets break down the current prize draw entries and i will tell you on each casino how many people have actually signed up this month.

So, BV, there are 246 entries, how many of these entries are new, well so far this month 45 people have registered at Bet Victor through my link, 33 of those have gone on to make a deposit. I get a CPA at Bet Victor, this is a one time payment per player and it is based on a wagering requirement, if the person doesn’t hit a certain level of wagering, the CPA payment is not triggered. So you can guarantee, of those 33, they won’t all trigger – i can actually tell you that as it stands, 28 payments have triggered. So you see 246 entries and think wow that is a lot of money, i have received a payment this month for 28 of them, everyone else is existing and make £0 for me.

So, PP, there are 329 entries, how many are new….. 16 – that is sixteen. Again, i only receive a CPA here, no revenue share so a one time payment per player of which, 13 have triggered this month. 329 entries, some of which won’t even be through my link which is fine for this one, 13 payments.

Ok so Betfair, it says 255 – the new entries account for 11 (Eleven) – Again, no revenue share here, a one time CPA (Cost per acquisition) and 12 payments have actually triggered this month so i would imagine that means one person from last month completed the criteria but from 329 entries, i have 12 payments.

Lastly, VS, anyone can enter this one regardless of using my link and it has always been that way, there are 429 entries in this one, 39 of those are new players through my link but again here, there is a requirement of wagering they must hit in order to trigger the payment i receive, i have a hybrid deal here, that means i get a smaller CPA and a revenue share, it has always been that way but let me give you an actual, up to the day report on the revenue share side of this account right now…its £0. It is actually minus 2k but will just be £0 – they don’t take money off you in that way. Out of the 39 new people, currently 20 payments have triggered.

Can you see now how this kind of post is my problem?
One of the replies that says i have to do nothing, if i do nothing, there simply are none or very few new sign ups and as i have gone on and on and on about in loads of replies in the past, i don’t have a revenue share that actually produces a decent revenue share anywhere, no casino. I do a video when i want to play, if i don’t want to play then i don’t do one. Sometimes i can’t do one because i have a ban, like now, i am banned from YouTube, where do i put a video? I have tried loads of different places and there is always something that doesn’t quite fit. I’m not a streamer so i don’t want to stream, as i have said, time and again.
I don’t have any tough months ahead, i could turn it all off tomorrow if i really wanted too but i will always gamble so why should i, 99% of my following love to see a video whenever that video may pop up, i don’t play to a schedule, i don’t stream 5 times a week on a time table, i’m not a business.
The only dark cloud remains peoples huge misunderstandings.
