Each member gets one prediction for the final score of the World Cup Final before the match kicks off.

For example:

England 2–1 Argentina
Brazil 3–0 France
Spain 1–1 Germany

The goal is to predict the exact full-time score of the final.

 

Potential Prize Structure

Option A

Exact score winner: £x amount.
If multiple people get it right, the prize is split equally

Option B

Exact score winner: £x amount.
Closest prediction wins £x, if nobody gets the exact result

Interested to hear what everyone thinks. Would this be a fun World Cup competition, and what prize structure would you suggest?

Obviously it doesn’t have to be a monetary prize, that’s up to Steve.

And there’s possibilities to run a comp the entire duration of the World Cup but that’s alot more work to keep track of because as we know Steve took months to update and restart his computer.

Pick 32 slot suggestions 1 from 32 different people randomise it so have like a knock out stages winning at the end wins a cash prize ( can do it each week) to get more people involved

 

Or do a single slot session get us to pick the total return and closest to it wins

Attach a slot to each of the last 32 teams and as each team is eliminated or progresses that slot is removed or played again at the next stage. When the final is won whatever the slot has earned through the knockouts could be awarded to whoever is chosen for that team, same with the runner up & losing semifinal teams. Really enjoying the videos from the 50/60p games up to reel king madness or today’s bonus buys. Keep up the good work. 🍻

I think the give away could be the random winner/ winners could be given the chance to give you a slot suggestion as part of a bigger stakes video and have the choice to either buy the bonus or spin it in naturally and then you retain a % of the winnings and whatever is left is their shear for winning the competition that way we get to see content but with the twist of is a game goes nuts the follower and yourself get a nice payday with yourself deciding the % they receive and the max stake wether it be a £240 buy or whatever thanks Kyle

How about choosing a winner who either wins a cash value or can leave it in your hands to do a video and accept a loss or gamble for a win. Letting the lucky winner choose the games.

Like the idea of allocating a slot to each of the teams left when it gets to the knockout stage or last 16) and draw people out and assign them a team

as they get knocked out you buy a bonus with the person assigned to that team getting any profit from the buy. You could increase the value of the buys each time the teams progress to the next stage
maybe the overall winner keeps all winnings from the final buy not just the profit?

Really appreciate that you are willing to just give money/prizes out to YouTube viewers, how to do it?

Depends on whether it’s one large prize or selection of prizes.

Corner bets on select 3-4 games, points given for exact amount of 5 points for example and then win or lose points on distance from the correct amount. Example 8 corners in the game but you guess 12 therefore 1 points because you are 4 away (5-4=1) or you guess 15 therefore -7 points. You can literally go from bottom to top in a couple games.

I think it could be worked out easily using excel.
