You have to look at it from a different perspective, if everyone was fully sourced verified and done before the gambling starts they can control the amount you play, (very hard long and time consuming for us all but a better solution to the gambledemic the UK is in). They can’t won’t do that so average limit for everyone is what it will come too and it will save so many people from what many have gone through.
On the flip side gambling within your budget, is that realistically a gamble? Fun is a good thing for everyone but let’s face it, a gamble is a risk by definition, if your not risking much your not a gambler.
I agree with you, £100 per month is rediculus, they should have better communication with banks ect for the controls, to make sure people don’t go broke, they can’t trust us to limit ourselves so what else is the solution. About time they did something IMO.
However there is a third position, one that I feel is the most important, you are in control of your self, if you want to risk it all then great good for we love the gamble, enjoy the experience understand what will happen win or lose. But don’t moan dwell or cry about it when you lose, you must and this is the biggest thing, accept what’s happening, what you want, deserve, think your due or feel you’ve earned, isn’t taken into consideration. When you risk it, make sure your prepared for the worst outcome. If not, UNLUCKY!
