Stop buying bonuses is my advice. Use the bonus buy cost as a marker for what the average bonus is going to pay less than. Spin them in at 25%-50% of the buy cost (raise the stakes if you have the funds to do so and havnt been spinning it for a long time) then you are more likely to make profit. If you cant spin it in, move on.

Works for me, in 2 years ive stayed in profit and just play with profits

Totally agree with Spin_em_in…… Bonus buys are very high risk, particularly on slots paying 10000x + as a jackpot. The most riskiest are the ones where there are ‘improved’ bonuses for 4/5 scatters or a ‘super’ bonus, the cost on some are well over 400 times the stake, which is not the most common payout for a bonus round…..Don’t get me wrong, some of the buys are in the affordable range, dependant on the stake, but to hit the max win on Mental or Das Boot for example is not something that is going to happen unless you are very very lucky.

If you are looking for value and fun, I’d recommend playing the slots with random in game bonuses, as well as the more traditional bonus round, at least you are getting some good entertainment for your money with the chance of winning big……. Pragmatic seem to have got a great range of games which offer the chance of big wins in game as well as attainable bonus rounds, plus, if you want to go down the bonus buy route, they are more affordable than most…….. but as usual, it is down to playing the right slot at the right time.

Don’t forget RTP is calculated over the number of spins which have been played on the particular slot in it’s lifetime, so theoretically you could spin the slot 3 times and win the jackpot on each occasion or you could spin the slot 1000 times and not win a bean …..
