88 percent RTP?  Does that mean if playing at 1 pound per spin you’ll lose £12 out of every 100 spins on average??  If so it takes 2 secs per spin meaning you’ll lose £12 every 3 mins 20 seconds (100 spins) and £100 every half an hour (Roughly), and that is just on average/expected/the casino “rake”, dangggg!

The RTP number is like the “rake” in online poker right?  Where you basically give the RTP “rake” to the casino, like a charge for playing their games so in this case you pay £12 to the casino and THEN it allows you the 88 spins at £1 per spin, that’s fcking CRAZY, think about it, the RTP difference is like a “fee” to play their games, what they charge you to play them, at £1 per spin, they are charging you over £200 per hour to “allow you to play these prestigious slots”, lolllllllll.

Dunno if I got that right, there are RTP defenders that will claim RTP don’t matter, all I know is that I liked slots but now they seem to obviously rob people, I liked watching YouTubers play slots, then realised they deposit £1000 per day, claim all is real, but don’t really seem the type of people who would earn 365 thousand pound per year to actually be able to play these slots the way they do so all is a scam and even then they lose and are really, really happy to end up above their deposit for a video, even though it can’t be their own money (Anyone earning 300k per year doesn’t have time to make 1-3 slot videos per day for a 2k audience).

Slot sites at the mo seem to consist of, get the person to sign up, we rob them knowing they will leave the casino, we rename casino, they will join again, then simply repeat, why do slot makers make a 88 percent RTP game in the first place, WTF, I suppose it must be working for them I guess???

Happened to me too, no bonus from like a 500x plus deposit playing stuff like Goonies, Beavis and Butthead, 7 Sins, easy to bonus stuff but nope, also happened to Low Stake Slots over on Youtube the other day with a massive £450 and they play on 20p usually and not one bonus, says it at the beginning of this video, slots aren’t fun anymore and don’t even give you a chance right now…

Yep, same experience as SRX23, noticed the slots went bad a long time ago, it’s now regular to deposit 300-500x and not get a bonus, or not get a bonus for 45 minutes and lose in record time, my tinfoil hat guess is they seem to want to be like No Limit City slots, as I’ll lose, then maybe get 500-1000x (Not often), then start to lose in record time, no matter what I play, it got so predictable it just put me off slots and yep, it’s noticeable, like night and day, my mate describes playing now is like they play normal, but someone just removed all the bonuses.

I didn’t have to Gamstop myself or close the accounts either, if I feel like depositing I immediately think, what would I play though as I get a sour feeling from all the slots I used to love, I suppose it’s as I remember going 100 spins to get 5-25x back on a regular (Or like Scruffy Duck double feature, about 50x or less now, 4 scatter Big Bass, 1 guy turns up in 15 spins, etc…).

What upset me about it the most were the slots that you know can’t pay that act like this, Wild Wild West, best you can hope for is 50-100x in the bonus, but it’ll happily dead spin for days now, very cheeky, or the ones you’ve played for years, like Goonies, you know how they behave and it’s insulting to think people wouldn’t notice the massive difference, some money grabbing stuff going on at the moment, everywhere.

You know the slots aren’t for you anymore when you find yourself voluntarily playing Starburst, that’s 1 step away from sitting in a rocking chair, combing my hair whilst repeating “I’m a good girl” (Imma bald bloke BTW), Starburst, the slot equivalent of ordering a nice takeaway just to eat the bag it arrives in…

Hate doing that myself, I feel ya, but seriously, why TF do they have a max bet button on nearly every slot, then make the button sometimes bigger than the spin button itself, then place that button so close the the spin button??  They have a “change wager” section, they should leave it at that, but nope, they want you to either push that button by accident, or, if tilting, the button is a suggestion to go full tilt, just stupid and under handed IMO, especially with the no auto spin stuff, caught me out a few times where I’m just clicking away, lean over to stroke my cat or something, look back, and I’m now on max bet, and, of course, you never seem to win either when you’ve maxed by accident, I just don’t see the need for that button, no need at all, it doesn’t even tell you how much the max is either, so most gamblers wouldn’t feel comfortable just hitting that button without visiting and checking the change wager section to see how much it is, so, whilst there, they could just set the max if they want that, meaning the button doesn’t save anyone time, so it’s probably there for the benefit of only a handful of players and pishes off the other 99 percent of us…

I’d LOVE them to remove those buttons, or, at the very least, when you push that button, it asks you to confirm this is what you want to do and let you know the stake, if you choose to proceed, no other interruptions, simples, no need to be dirty, or maybe I’m missing something??  Does anyone find those Max Bet buttons super useful or know why they are there, I sometimes miss real obvious sht?

in reply to: Arcade machine build #108347

I built a bartop with the Raspberry Pi, I have a Tron themed, 2 player bartop and a chrome and black single player bartop (The 2 player one has a mini PC in though, boots straight into Hyperspin). I also have a mini Nes box with a Raspberry Pi in, runs everything from Amiga/Sinclair, all consoles and Arcade (MAME and Neo-Geo), built it for a family member, turns on/off by the Nes power button and the reset button works on the box too, all-in-all the parts cost under £100 with/including a wireless joypad (Wii U joypad knockoff, I think) and HDMI cable (Bargin)…

I have crap loads of emulators on my phone as well, goes good with the wireless, 8BitDo Zero 2 joypad (About £10, Ebay), I’ve emulators on my tablet, olde PSP.  I’ve helped with a Pinball version, arcade thing using Pinball FX (I think, on Steam, good games), I’m sure they had Starwars and Jaws pinball tables on (Pretty cool) and a TeknoParrot build.

Just saying, if you need any advice or help with the build OP, just let me know mate.  Oh, microswitch LED buttons are cheap (1-4 pound, depending on source), so are the joysticks, the light up joysticks though, I’d stay away from those as the ones I’ve tried seem top heavy (So lighter to control), lightgun builds, I use an AimTrek lightgun for those, but they cost like £100 and there are probably better/cheaper options now (Long time since I built a lightgun one) and to light the Marquee I just use an led strip that changes colours (£5) and an led strip, 45 degree holder (Like £3).  The wood and the monitor are the only things that cost when doing the builds really (And good lightguns).  I don’t sell bartops BTW, was just really into emulators at one time and built a few things for friends/family (Also I like building things with the Raspberry Pi’s, they are cool AF).

A good tip for the Pi’s though is, when you buy 1, buy a box for it too that has a fan built into it (£5-£10, the Nes box I have was £20, but a plain one without buttons/hat is much cheaper), and also, if a Pi 3, heatsinks (£2 the set of 3), also, make sure you buy the right power cord (The amps matter), then you’ll have no worries with the Pi, ever.  Another tip, if you’re running Retropie/Emulation Station, you can change Themes easily (The way it looks), there are lots of themes, but the best one I’ve found is called the “Bluray” Theme, it’s 2:33 into the video below, or just YouTube Retropie Themes, there are probably better/cooler ones now.

On another note, the Bandit seems to have lost his mo-jo, so could he play for the fans instead, as in make a pot/target, people will donate and leave a user name, when the target is reached, the Bandit plays a bonus hunt with the cash and whatever he wins at the end, he’ll do a draw of the people who donated to that pot and give the cash to the winner?  That way he won’t be using his own cash, might be motivated to play slots as it’s for other people/his fans (He’d be happy if he won big for a fan I think), and it’ll be exciting for his fans that are involved or feel they want to get involved, meh, probably illegal or something, IDK, just miss the mans videos, that’s all…
