First few drinks I’ve had in 6 years. I hope people don’t mind me venting. Don’t have many people in my life but my dog and he doesn’t answer back.

So as the title says… She’s up and left. Loosing my house in 3 months time and possibly my boy, (Vince, my beautiful dog).

I feel a bit like Ian Bill…. I’ve got nothing left. Haha. I love this forum and I love the vids Bandit. I hope you enjoy the slots again after your break by the way.

I feel so alone, poor and defeated.

Sorry if I’ve miss judged this post. But I really don’t know where else to vent.

I’m a really good guy and will do anything for anyone. Just fallen on hard times and need a bit of support.

Once again, I feel at home on this website, so it’s the most comfortable place for me to post.

    Thanks for reading.

    Sorry for the Downer.

Science tells us that everything in the universe affects everything else

Jesus said, “Love thy neighbour as thyself”

Loving your wife is loving yourself, and loving yourself is loving your wife

(you may replace the word ‘wife’ with ‘dog, cat, Bandit, forum’ if/when necessary)

I’m really sorry to hear that mate , yeah your right this is a sad subject but forums like this are for more than just slots. Its a band of gamblers all looking out for each other when times are hard. You will find among the banter that people will offer to some solid advice. Here’s mine! Head down to your local council and opt in for some counselling sessions 1 on 1 costs like £15 a session maybe less? Depends on where you are and im assuming your from the UK if your not from the UK same applies just find someone professional to talk to about whats happened , lay the ground out for them and put your life into perspective so you can start moving forward. I can’t really hash it out with you on here because this is your private life and its not good plastering it all over the forum , i’ve been in and out of therapy all my adolescent and adult life it does help!

    Goodluck pal.

All I will say mate is that you will get through this.

I’ve done it twice now (3rd time.lucky and all that). At the time it feels shit and it can be hard moving forwards. But one thing I always say is that you coped at some point before you met and got together, and you will cope again afterwards.

Take some time to let it all sink in. You will be surprised how you will start to bounce back and start doing things you have always wanted to do. Maybe a hobby you had but has been put on the shelf since you got married, or meeting old friends you haven’t bothered with for ages.

As harsh as it sounds, the world keeps turning mate. Whether you sit on your own worrying about stuff you have no control over or get back out there and start enjoying life is your choice. We ‘re only here for a short time. Enjoy it while you can and move forwards mate. It will be hard at times but gets easier everyday.

    Thank you both.

My dog is my world right now so the replacement would be dog haha.

Pills… Cheers, I won’t go too much into detail but I’m in the military and gave couples therapy, mental health service and other forms of support but being in my shoes it’s better to vent anomalously. The home support I have is very one sided as she is the civilian.

I’ve done nothing wrong though. She has literally. Completely changed persona and I don’t know her anymore. Woke up one day, she said she’s leaving and pooft. Off she went. Today was my clarification when she declared she has told my work and im getting kicked out of my house.

Once again im venting, I apologize.

This will be my second divorce too haha, snap. Thank you, your last paragraph hit home in a massive way. Not harsh just very true. I just hope I can pick up what dignity I have left. I’m ashamed and embarrassed.

So sorry to hear this bud, absolutely heartbreaking.

@andywilliams1187 is spot on though – it will get better and you will get through this. Often hard to see that in the immediate aftermath, but it will. You just have to trust us.

Sorry to hear about your dog too. If you ever want to talk, we’re all here!

Sorry to hear this bro ? Sometimes life just kicks you in the nuts & it really hurts for a while, like some have said, give yourself time to recover and don’t be doing anything to strenuous in the mean time.

I’ve been in the same boat for a few years now, on my own.. And it’s all ok, I got a routine and enjoy myself and can talk all day to my customers ? Go out when I want and have no hang ups… Being single ain’t all that bad, Infact it has its advantages ??? keep the head up bro & don’t be to down on yourself, after all it wasn’t your fault someone else didn’t like the situation and circumstances.

You sound like a honest guy, and that will shine though ☀️??? someone will notice ? And your be all giddy again ?

    Stay safe brother. ?

It’s times like this I wish I could be of more help but I’m 22 with literally no life experience beyond university ?

So what I will say is, echoing previous posts, feeing sorry for yourself is ok at first, we all need to do a bit of self reflection now and again, it’s all part of the rebuilding process 🙂

Found out today someone I knew had died back in Sept. only spent a day with her,  1st day we met. My life was too busy to put time aside to meet up.  we chatted on social media around the 12th I found out she died on the 26th. I remember her cos she was fun intelligent and full of energy. she had her problems that she was battling and her are some of the posts she put up just before her passing that i thought were very insightful and would be good to share .

Thank you to everyone for your support.

It seems I am a soppy drunk haha.

I am overwhelmed by all the comments, I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I know I will be ok, I love a slot session and it used to be something I would have turned to in dark times but me posting on here last night seemed to have suppressed the urge to throw what little money I do have into the casinos pockets.

D4P, I am very sorry to hear about your loss, thank you for the kind words.

I feel slightly embarrassed for posting but the feed back has comforted me.

    Thank you all

Dont worry mate the forum is always here for venting. I’ve seen quite a few lads go through this when I was in. It was amazing with some who had been together over 20 years but after the lad had put his papers in and left, they realised that they where just not compatible. I suppose to an extent it’s always a honeymoon period (do a tour, away on cadres, come home for a few weeks then off again)

Hope your not to hungver this morning mate. Get your 95s on, go out, find a new rrcruit and send him on menial tasks for a bit. Will make you feel better???
