Week 22 – Mrs Xbob still off work and is being annoying ? I doubt she’ll be going back now so I have no time for anything fun lol… Everything good with the baby bump though, I’ve got a nursery to decorate with pink unicorn wallpaper tomorrow ?

Week 24 – Mrs Xbob is still off work ? We now have a pink nursery and lots of unicorns ??

Things are starting to get fairly serious now. We’ve got pretty much everything ready for a surprise early baby ?

If I could moan about one thing, I’m constantly tired ?

The single best thing you can do with your life imho. Congratulations xbobmad. My little one is 4 now and he’s hilarious. The light in my life. Cracks me up daily, I’m going to miss him when he’s all grown up.

My advice to you would simply be enjoy every moment, you can never take enough photographs, love the hugs and support your other half in any way that you can, especially in the first 3 months and then again if she goes back to work eventually, those are particularly difficult times for her in my limited experience.

For me it felt like a dream until I held him in my arms after cutting the cord then suddenly boom! I’m a dad. Magical. Good luck.

Week 26! It’s all getting real now ?

Mrs Xbob is still signed off work and is starting to do my head in ? left alone for the day she managed to buy a large old cot which I had to drag up the stairs… And doesn’t fit through the door frame ?

She’s also “craving” caramel still… I’m not convinced!

We’ve got a proper 3D scan next Sunday and we’re taking my Mum and Brother, that will be fun ?

All my days off are taken up at midwife/specialist/scans ?

Not long to go now really, nervously excited!

Cheers Haz, Feel free to open a book on the birth date whenever you’re ready ? To help people out the actual due date is September 29th but if she makes it to then i’ll be shocked ?

Obviously i’m not allowed to put anything on, but my guess is somewhere around the 15th August!

And to answer the caramel question, yes i have been buying 2 lots, and i’ve put at least 15kg on since January lol ?

Great 4d scan looks great , my daughter just had a wee boy , I got the 4d scan and thought she was having an alien ?I just said aw looks nice lol

Week 27 – Additional

The pregnancy bedroom fan broke in the night and sounded like a tank ?? I’m not sure why I felt the need to share that, but it woke me up and I’m grumpy at work now ?

I think it was Mrs Xbob demanding I fix it at 3am that made me so cross ?

Apart from that all good, Consultant appointment tomorrow then every day off I have until birth is either a scan, midwife or consultant!
