Hello, new here. Been playing on some of the Crypto sites from the UK(VPN) for a while. Recently I came across a site called Metaspins. Looked decent enough, as the CEG official licence. Anyway, I played there yesterday and managed to get a balance of around £2500 from a £60 deposit. They have all Hacksaw, PnG games etc so all fine. Went to withdraw and submitted it. Within literally 1 minute my account was blocked. Received an email saying I had a Self Exclusion. When proven that I had not had a SE they then asked me to do KYC…complied fully…I’m then told that the UK is a restricted country and they were confiscating my funds. I had explained that all their affiliates and streamers were playing from “Restricted Countries” such as the US/UK and Netherlands. Regardless they have stuck with the story and pulled my winnings and are possibly going to return the deposit…but haven’t seen anything come through yet! They ask for KYC “at their discretion” which means all is fine if you lose…put as much money in as you like….but try and withdraw something and we will take your money if you are in one of about 20 countries that appeared on their “list”.
Just a warning for UK players in particular – do not play on this casino as you will not be able to get anything from them…unless you lose.9th September 2023 at 6:53 pm #131154Ant 75 WANTED $2Outlaw
Thanks for the warning. I was considering signing up to this casino. Even visiting their homepage from a UK ip address, they advise using a VPN to access their games “safely and securely”10th September 2023 at 7:16 am #131162Slot WANTED $31Outlaw
if you get verified by a casino is safe to use VPN, without KYC you are risking your money10th September 2023 at 10:42 am #131170
I’m curious, did you try to withdraw the entire £2.5k all at once or a couple of small amounts? All the streamers I know who use crypto have said to withdraw small amounts if you win a big amount.15th September 2023 at 10:39 am #131380
I withdraw £1000, was literally asked for KYC within 1 minute of requesting it. They then claimed I had a self exclusion which was complete bollocks as I only ever had one account, confirmed they were wrong…then said your in the UK so we aren’t paying you as you aren’t allowed to play real money games.
