so this morning I woke up to a series of emails from my bank telling me a load of random payments had been attempted so I had a look at my account and it was empty bar £1.86p ? so I called immediately and discovered that 6weeks ago when I had lost my card, in the minutes between losing it and cancelling it someone had set up a continuous payment to an Indian credit service to take ammounts between £10 and £200 6 weeks later so your when account is back and active again.. Absolute bastards!
fortunately the bank where really sound about it and are refunding the £100 they stole but it’s not gonna be back in my account until after Xmas, luckily I have a very kind mum who’s lending it to me until I get it back
double check the same hasn’t happened to you bandit it’s a terrible way to wake up
