Thought I would post this after a discussion I had with Blacko last night and a couple of threads regarding bonuses and terms and conditions.

Please make sure you read all the T&C’s before signing up to bonuses. I know most of us cannot be arsed doing it but there are a couple of things that everyone should be careful of – if your unsure, verify your account before playing:

1: Check that you have not self excluded with a sister site of the company you are signing up with. When you self exclude from a certain casino, you will automatically be excluded from all casinos under the umbrella of the parent company. There was a thread on here recently where a poster had 11.5k in winnings confiscated due to excluding elsewhere. If you are unsure, check with live chat. It should also be listed in the T&C’s what sister sites a casino is linked to

2: Check the maximum bet on a bonus. When taking casino bonuses, make sure you check what the maximum wager is (with most it is less than £5.00 a spin but some differ). Also, DO NOT buy any bonuses with bonus funds unless you are 100% sure you are not breaching the bonus terms. If you buy a 0.20p bonus for £20, you are staking £20 not 0.20p. Most casinos will still let you buy bonuses on games like extra chilli or vikings; you might win big and be happy, then find that you have breached the T&C’s so the money gets confiscated. Don’t risk it. Make sure you are 100% sure before you click that button .

3: Cashouts on bonuses. Read the T&C’s. I was speaking to Blacko last night and told him about my experience with 21 casino (one of the only times I ever played online). Took a welcome bonus with a small deposit and span it to over 4k after going through the wagering requirements. Withdrew the 4k and was gutted to learn that the max cashout was £100 due to the terms and conditions of the bonus. Completely my fault.

I know its a pain in the arse reading through terms and conditions, but the 10 minutes it takes can save you a lot of heart ache later on when your big win gets confiscated. I love seeing people win big from small amounts; the casinos like doing everything they can to make it hard to pay out, dont give them more ammunition!!!

Reading through boring documents is one of those things in life that we try to avoid. Take your insurances policies for example!, how many of us pore over the details in the small print. We do however examine every paragraph when the policies are required. Its the same with casinos. I’m glad this has been brought up this evening. I hope people read this kind of thread and read carefully from now on. I know it’s a ball ache to check everything but in the long it just might make the difference between a massive withdrawal and funds been confiscated.
